Sr. Ceviche — Restaurant in Barcelona

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Sr. Ceviche in Barcelona, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was vibrant and welcoming, perfectly matching the energy of the city.

Let me start with the pork tacos – they were nothing short of incredible. The pork was perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor, complemented by fresh toppings that elevated each bite. Truly some of the best tacos I’ve had in Barcelona!

To pair with the tacos, I ordered a Michelada, and it was spot on. Refreshing, zesty, and just the right kick to balance the rich flavors of the food. If you’re a fan of Micheladas, this one is a must-try.

For dessert, the Tres Leches cake was heavenly. Moist, sweet, and perfectly balanced – it was the ideal way to end the meal.

I also tried a dish called Causa Limeña, and it was a revelation! This Peruvian classic was beautifully presented and packed with layers of flavor. The combination of textures and the subtle yet vibrant spices made it a standout dish.

Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about ensuring every guest had a great experience. It felt like dining among friends.

What a wonderful find, a real taste of Latin America in Barcelona. We came for lunch not knowing what to expect. We went for the Pacific Trilogy - a selection of 3 Ceviches, Peruvian white fish, Ecuadorian prawns & Mexican octopus. These are served cold and the seafood is marinated in lime with a touch of chili heat. Absolutely delicious. The portions look small but are really filling. We were taught how to eat them with just a spoon as you must eat the seafood with the marinade. For starters we ordered the strawberry lemonade and the mint ginger lemonade as well as the passion fruit sour. All three drinks were so fresh and delicious, they even gave us an extra shot of passion fruit sour for the table! We decided to get the fried plantains for starters and were super fresh with great texture and a really good sauce on top. We ordered 3 ceviches to try the different flavors and fish and we were really surprised by how different and fresh each plate was, easily the best ceviche we’ve tried.
