First of all I don't really like writing anything negative about someone's restaurant but when things are not good then the public or tourist deserve to know. Unfortunately there is no Zero stars to give.
What a terrible experience in this place, as a tourist i was expecting better but they obviously seen me coming. Menu outside the door, and was greeted by male person overweight, black dress attire and grey hair stocky guy, you British we have menu in English, well that was a bad start, I aint British for a start, and yes do require a menu please in English. He was so eager to get me to go in so my wife and I went in, where we were greeted by another 2 people both male (no English at all) and a female (bad attitude dark skin / wears glasses).
Have we of known we would of turned around, the place wasn't busy so we stayed. Was taken to a table that seats 6, yet there was only 2 of us, it was very tight and crampy to get into, seems everyone was seated in this area of the restaurant. Seems like they keep the locals or Spanish on the left side and the tourists on the right side near the window. We were given food menu's again, by the female server, wow she was so bad, didn't want to entertain us at all or cater for any of our needs, etc. Roast Breast of chicken is actually just a leg so customers be carefully with this, the server will let on that they don't understand, we also asked for French Fries and was told NO aggressively by the female server (the guy that so much wanted us in the place not once bothered to attend to any of our needs). We decided to ask another server but he let on his English was bad so what did he do only go and get the female server again. We were on a no one situation.
Then she arrives with the roast leg and French Fries when she aggressively said no to them in the first place,.. The Bolognese is watered down sloppy muck, and the name over the door makes you think that this place is going to be good, i don't think so.Oh we were also asked in the tone of "drinks, drinks" well what do you have, how about give us a menu for that too,.. why do we go to the bother as tourists to actually give someone business and dine in their restaurants,...
Menus for drinks we thrown on the table, where less time was given to see what we would like and she kept pulling it out of my hands. My wife never ate her lunch and the owners never budged on fixing any of the issues for us at all. We just wanted the bill and to get out of there, we were charged for everything, nothing done for us at all, they were only too happy to take our money. Did i leave a tip, no i didn't why should I, it was terrible. The toilets are a joke they were filty without going into details and they were freezing, like an igloo.
Tourists you will find better, don't be too anxious to go into this place, and don't be led or fooled by the guy at the door. There is much better and welcoming places out there.
The restaurant people may read this, and may not care at all, but the way you treat and show no warmth to a customer is something else. I would hate to think that should you ever visited my country you would experience...
Read moreWe got there, got asked how many were we, we answer and the guy said: OK. We weren’t taken to our seats nor got welcomed. So we’re going to whatever place seems to be an alright spot, and although the place wasn’t crowded we waited 20 minutes until this guy comes and quickly asks: have you decided yet? Our faces almost fell off: “what do you mean decided, we have no clue what you serve here” I though as I asked for their Menu. The guy brings us the menu and after 1 minute comes back and rushes us into ordering. I barely got to the page 2. He does that 3 more times, moment when he pretty much gets on my nerves. So we order, food gets served pretty quick, and when my barbecue pizza arrives, instead of the delicious meal I was expecting, I just get this greasy overpriced round thing with minced meat and undercooked onion on it. Not pleasant at all. Very disappointing.
As a local, I’m never stepping in this place again, and if I were a tourist this would give me such a bad idea about the gastronomical richness...
Read moreIf 0 stars was an option, it would still be too much for this place. . I had the most horrible experience and i ran to the bathroom shortly after it. The soup tasted like bullion powder, salt and a thick layer of oil. The pizza had ketchup on it instead of pizza sauce. The sea fruit pasta was definetly the worst part. It came wrapped in foil in the shape of a bird. As i opened the foil, i saw a very non appetizing dish that looked like it was already returned to the kitchen and recycled. Im not a picky eater but this i could not touch. The smell, the appearance and everything about it was repulsive. The waiters were looking at me the whole time and they saw i wasnt touching the dish but nobody came to ask even though the place was almost empty. At the end of the meal, as the waiter cane to pick up the check, he asked if i didnt like the dish. I said no yet he still took my money for it, as i didnt want to argue. Needless to say,...
