Santagloria Coffee & Bakery — Restaurant in Barcelona

This a great place to take a coffee, relax and enjoy some minutes if you need a stop near Diagonal Avenue. I was walking around from my hotel and I found it by chance, nice environment, allow to sit with your laptop, FREE WIFI! (Amazing), good food (I tried 2 small croissants) plus a good coffee, but the best is the friendly personal working there.

If you have time and you are near University area in Diagonal, don't hesitate to visit this coffee place.

Sadly orange juice was not available but I understand there were not more...

Nice casual café to have a bite with plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and late lunch. Pastries are numerous and varied, coffee tastes like coffee and they also have natural smoothies. Customize your own salad with a decent variety of ingredients, or get a 'bocadillo de jamón serrano con tomate' for a tasty and consistent meal. I believe they have discounts for student card holders. Nothing out of normal in the decoration or structure of the space; just a well served café with choices...

We made a quick stop at this nearby coffee shop since we had some time before check-in at the Grand Hyatt next door.

The ladies at the counter were lovely and kind. We ordered some empanadas, cappuccinos, freshly squeezed OJ, and two croissants (plain and pistachio).

The croissants were perfect with a slight glaze on them with flaky exterior and moist and soft interior. I should have ordered a couple to go.

There is plenty of seating indoors as well as some tables outside....
