Well , really disappointed to leave a semi-bad review since i'm lebanese but let's name why i'm disappointed. Waiter couldn't help recommend a dish, and when asked what a platter includes he would say "kelshi kelshi" meaning everything but what does everything mean! Anyways ordered drinks , the starters arrived then the main course arrived and still no drinks. Now let's start naming the really bad aspects. My Ayran had ice cubes in it!!!!! ICE CUBES IN A 250 ml ayran that costs 4.5 euros btw. The bread was dry. The lamb had a weird aftertaste. The meat was burned and had charcoal on it 😅. The only tender thing was the fat. The chicken was not bad to be honest. The mtabal was a great appetizer. The tomato , zucchini and pepper were all undercooked ( grilled from the outside and cold inside ) The grilled onions were really good so was the "toum" garlic paste. And to finish off the baklava was really dry. Surely not homemade or at least 2 days old Ah and let's not forget the prices as well. 5 euros for a drinkable yogurt, 7-9 euros for a chickpea starter 😅. And 30€ for approximately 300 g or less meat.. anyways glad i had the chance to try Beirut but never coming again . Or at least not ordering what i ordered yesterday again.

Title: A Night in Beirut: Authentic Lebanese Flavors in Barcelona Review: Last month, I discovered a gem in Barcelona called Beirut Restaurant. The ambiance transports you straight to the heart of Lebanon. The space is generously laid out with tasteful Middle Eastern decor and soft music that complements the scene without intruding on your conversations. The staff at Beirut were prompt and courteous, ensuring my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. As a connoisseur of Lebanese food back in New York City, I can vouch that Beirut stands true to its roots. The lentil soup was a comforting start, followed by the Fasulia with Carne and Rice—each bite rich with authentic flavors. The meal ended perfectly with a slice of Knefa and aromatic Arabic tea. Beirut Restaurant is the place for anyone craving authentic Lebanese cuisine in Barcelona. Excellent service, delightful atmosphere, and authentic dishes make it a must-visit for a memorable dining experience.

We had a great experience at this Lebanese restaurant! The pincho de pollo con arroz y ensalada was absolutely delicious, the chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor, and the rice was fragrant and fluffy. The sides, especially the creamy sauces and fresh salad, complemented the dish beautifully. To top it all off, the baklava was absolutely delicious, perfectly sweet, flaky, and rich. A must-try! The ambiance was also a big highlight, the music created a perfect, relaxed atmosphere, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. The only problem is the poor a/c which was not enough for the Barcelona temperature and a luck of maintenance of the place. A special mention to Yussef, who was incredibly kind and professional. His attentive service made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a flavorful meal and great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

Get ready for Story Time: We were very excited to try this place because of the good reviews but were a bit hesitant at first because of the absurdly high prices. On The Fork app we were able to get a discount and convinced by the nice interior photos and reviews we went on a Saturday night. However, the ambiance is not as nice as the pictures would suggest.

Once we sat down we were told that there were only going to be cash payments because their machine is broken today.

We ordered water and it came in a big plastic bottle. Based on the prices you would expect more quality- but ok, also no big deal. One of the items we ordered came with the wrong side dish- of course, it’s no big deal either and they said they’ll bring the correct side for free. The hummus wasn’t great and the baba ganoush looked and tasted nothing like baba ganoush. The meat skewers were alright, the chicken however was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. The salad was nothing special and the falafel didn’t seem homemade at all. All in all the food was bland, and it didn’t seem like they focused on quality or taste. Let’s keep in mind that for this we paid half of the original price and it was still too much for what we got.

When it came to paying the bill they put the “free side dish” on the bill and initially we were missing 50 Euros in change. Ironically we even joked beforehand that we would maybe not get our change. Jokes on us- they were trying to steal 50€ indeed. After we complained the waiter acted like it was a terrible mistake, funnily a waiter 5 meters away also directly sighed and acted shocked (question: how did he know we just said that to the other waiter being so far away? Let’s conclude: he was not the greatest actor…).

Don’t be fooled by their very charming and nice act at the beginning. There is a reason behind it and safe to say: it’s not good intentions.

After we received our correct amount of change we left feeling bad and betrayed. The food sucked, the interior wasn’t nice and the waiters tried to steal from us. Even getting a 50% discount didn’t make us feel better. To be honest, I wouldn’t even want it for free. Please don’t go there and if you have to, try not to pay the full price. Reading the other reviews there seems to be a pattern here. The “credit card terminal is not working today” is something you can read in reviews from over two years ago.

To top it off: they claimed we didn’t go there on the app so we couldn’t leave a review on The Fork app or prove that we were there to report this scam of a restaurant. Additionally, we both had a stomach ache that lasted the entire night. To conclude: if you want to pay for overpriced bad food and potentially get robbed after, go to this place. If not, choose any other place. Hope I can prevent other uncomfortable situations and save you from wasting a few hours of your life and...

This was by far, the worst dining experience I had in my week in Barcelona. I ordered the hummus, a “cocktail” (no alcohol €10), and the seafood paella at my server’s recommendation. The hummus was bland, like something I would make in my kitchen if I was drinking and forgot half the ingredients. It had whole garbanzo beans on top which would have been great if they were roasted or cooked in some way but they were just terrible. The pita bread was not fresh, it was very stale. The “cocktail” was good, but it definitely took me longer than it should have to figure out it didn’t have any booze, not a big deal, but for the price, crazy. The paella, I don’t know if I can even capture it with words. There was no crunchy rice (sofrita, excuse the spelling). None of the seafood was fresh. Calamari barely even be cut with a knife. I attempted the prawns but got so little meat out of them that it wasn’t worth it and I was already feeling queasy. I stuck to the rice which did have a great flavor, but none of the seafood was even edible. The ambiance was complete chaos. I went in for a nice solo dinner my last night in Barcelona and there were children running around and screaming as loud as humanely possible. It was absolutely insane. One of the waiters looked like his head was going to explode and I felt the same. It was not the tranquil, delicious meal I had planned for the grande finale. I do not like to complain, especially because my Spanish is horrendous, but even when I was asked one time how my food was and I opened my mouth to say something, my waiter gave me a thumbs up and walked way. I don’t like negative reviews either. However, spend your money elsewhere. I was so sick to my stomach afterwards. My bill was €42 and now I’m at the airport feeling nauseous and angry with myself for eating seafood I knew...

Title: Exceptional Atmosphere and Service, but Lacking in Flavor and Speed

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

I recently dined at the Beirut restaurant in Barcelona, and as a returning customer from the Bangkok branch, I couldn't help but make some comparisons.

Atmosphere (5/5): Barcelona's branch wins hands down in terms of atmosphere. The decor and vibe are simply exceptional. The location next to the ports adds an extra layer of charm to the dining experience.

Product Quality (4/5): The quality of the meat, particularly the kebab and grilled lamb, exceeded my expectations. It was noticeably better than what I had in Bangkok.

Seasoning/Flavoring (3/5): While the meat was great, I must admit that the seasoning and flavoring left something to be desired. The Bangkok branch excels in this department, offering a wider variety of flavors and more aromatic dishes. The salads and sauces in Barcelona could use a bit more punch.

Speed (2/5): One area where the Barcelona branch falls short is speed. Despite a less crowded environment, we waited for 30 minutes for just two dishes. In comparison, the Bangkok branch serves food much faster and consistently hot.

Staff (5/5): The staff at the Barcelona branch deserves high praise. They were attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist. Their service truly enhances the dining experience.

Cleanliness (5/5): I was pleased to find that the cleanliness and hygiene standards at the Barcelona branch were top-notch, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining environment.

In summary, Beirut Barcelona offers a fantastic atmosphere and top-quality meat, making it a must-visit location. However, if you're a fan of bold flavors and speedy service, you might find the Bangkok branch more to your liking. Regardless, the warm hospitality of the staff in Barcelona will make you feel...
