Finally stopped in for a light breakfast after passing by numerous times. The outdoor seating is inviting with umbrellas and on a quiet pedestrian street (except service trucks). You order inside from the ready-made food case which consists of the usual croissants and bocadillos. Per usual, you pay when you order, receive your items on a tray and find a table. The cafe con leche was good and the iberico bocadillo was really tasty. The two things cost €5.55. There was a lady (possibly the owner) making sure the ladies behind the counter took my order and cleaned a table for me when she saw there was no clean table (needed to be bussed). Read moreMid mid mid. Pasta that tastes like from the box, not sure if that’s the case but do not have high hopes at all. All the food was mid at BEST, didn’t even get my Italian food craving. The place itself is nice, the servers are kind but did spill tomato juice on my friend. We took the rags bolognese, carbonara, pumpkin risotto, and cacio e Pepe and tuna tataki. The pastas and risotto literally tasted undersalted and lacked flavor. The tataki tuna was awful, don’t even bother. Wine was okay. Needless to say that I was super disappointed, and unfortunately I will not be back here. I urge the restaurant to do some more quality control to avoid this...
Read more3 of us came and asked for a table, the waitress doesn't understand a word of English. we ordered 2 appetizers, and we were told that there was no tartare (although 15 minutes after, they brought the tartare to table next to us). we ordered 3 main courses, the waitress said ok, and when 2 main courses came, only then was told that there was no third course. no one apologized or wished us bon apetit. we also ordered a sparkling water (small), and received two large ones, although the lady next to us drinks a small one. although the food is ok, because of the rudeness and unprofessionalism, avoid this place...
