👨‍🍳 Nomo (Sarrià) 🥘Barcelona is a great city for eating, yet authentic Asian fare is still hard to find. We’ve been in the Ciudad Condal for 9 months and were craving decent Japanese food in Barcelona. Grupo Nomo has a couple of restaurants around the city and we have one not that far from home. So we gave it a try and were a bit disappointed by the food for the price. The menu is vast, but the first warning sign was cream cheese in a few of the rolls. The menu features a lot of ingredients that will usually make most foodies’ mouths water: foie, truffle, and so on. But in the end it was too much, to the point that it felt like adding all these indulgent ingredients was trying to cover up that they couldn’t quite achieve what makes great sushi: simple, pure, top quality ingredients. The “east meets west” theme of the menu felt a little too forced. We ordered Sukiyaki croquettes, Hotate (scallop with foie), Okonomiyaki, Ebi Chilli 🍤 (Japanese twist on huevos rotos), Tako Yaki, Rainbow Tuna maki, and 🍣 nigiris of Brie, Foie, Wagyu Burger, quail egg and Butterfish. Everything we had was 🆗, but the somewhat hard rice made the experience dull. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. Would we go back? Nope, just move on to another Japanese place on our to do list. Lunch for two, with beers, came up to €99.60. Address: Carrer Major de Sarrià, 105

I had been looking for a good sushi place in Sarrià and I finally found it. Today a friend invited me to have lunch in this place and I truly enjoyed the food although the service was a little slow. I love the very original way of ordering as there is a little rectangle with little magnets inside and the numbers of the plates so you don’t forget what you want to order. The quality of the food is incredible and the sizing is great, there are very good vegan options which are incredible because you would never realize it’s not meat. Although I say the service was slow the waiters were extremely kind and always with a smile on their face. A place I’ll definitely be visiting often

By far the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to, in no small part because of our fantastic waiter, Mani - friendly, attentive, and lovely! The food was also a highlight. The rainbow rolls were excellent. We highly recommend the beef tataki and miso aubergine as well. Make sure not to skip the nigiri, especially the flamed eel, salmon, and fried quail’s egg. Also, we really enjoyed the tableside preparation of the grilled tuna. The Roku gin and tonic was also a very generous portion, and a great gin. All in all, such a joy to visit Nomo and we will be back!

I went with friends to eat in this restaurant and what a delight of place! The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect por a dinner couple or with friends . The menu offers a wide variety of options and all the ones we tried were delicious!! I specifically highlight the Tataki , which was just right and full of flavor . The staff was friendly and efficient making our visit a very pleasant experience. I want to give a special thanks to Lis for being above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Her sincere welcome , good attitude , and excellent service that made the difference. She did everything possible to meet our requirements, as if we were in a VIP . Excellent customer service!!! We will return thanks to her attention...

One of the best sushi places I've been. It exceeded my expectations. The sushi was tasty and beautiful you will feel the love in every bite...😁🤤 Food here is a bliss. Excellent food and amazing service!! Really enjoyed eating here. But above everything was the way the waiter made us feel extra special. His name is Christopher the very friendly, kind and super helpful because he helped us in choosing our food. And also their 3 (Filipinos) sushimans they are very friendly too and professionals. They shows a lot of love and admiration for their sushi. KUDOS and 5 star for them.

Super recomendable restaurant. What you pay is what you really get!😉👌 Will definitely comeback and...
