A Hidden Gem in Barcelona
Bronzo is by far my favorite restaurant in the world, and it never fails to amaze me. As a Venetian food restaurant, it offers an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience, making it the perfect spot to enjoy traditional Venetian flavors right in the heart of Barcelona. The quality of the food at Bronzo is exceptional. Every dish is crafted with attention to detail and the finest ingredients, transporting you straight to Venice with each bite. From the delicate Anchovies, butter & lemon to the rich Venetian meatballs and the playful Carbonara omelette, each starter is a delight. For the main course, Harry’s steak tartare, served with pizza dough and fries, is an unexpected combination that works surprisingly well. The Baccalà mantecato agnolotti with bottarga & black garlic is an absolute highlight, and the Gnocchi “burro e salvia” is a simple yet incredibly comforting dish. To finish, the Gorgonzola cheesecake provides a perfect blend of savory and sweet, leaving you wanting more. What makes Bronzo even more special is the incredible team behind it. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best options and ensure that your dining experience is flawless. They truly make you feel at home, and their passion for the food and the restaurant shines through in everything they do.
The concept behind Bronzo is truly inspiring. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Venice’s rich culinary heritage, brought to life in a modern and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is both cozy and elegant, with a perfect balance of contemporary design and traditional charm.
Whether you're a local or visiting Barcelona, Bronzo is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place where food, quality, and passion come together, and I can’t recommend it...
Read moreI have never met such incompetent service in my entire life. with all due respect, I worked as a waitress for 6 years and I understand when a waiter can't keep up. however, the ignorance we encountered during our visit on 17.10. she was unreal. from when we arrived it took over 30 minutes for her to come to order our food (in between we of course indicated to her that we would like to order). since we were hungry and didn't know how long it would take since just ordering was so long we asked for the bill. after 10 minutes of waiting for the bill (in between she brought two bills to the surrounding tables but ignored us) I went inside to pay. there she also ignored me, didn't even tell her colleague what table it was and walked away. a colleague found and gave me the bill. I never understood why some people would leave a restaurant without paying, but honestly, I did yesterday. it's a shame, the restaurant looked nice, I believe the food could have been delicious, but we didn't have the chance to try it because of the slowest service we've ever...
Read moreFine food, but you might get mugged by a burglar! Food was fine. The service and safety on the other hand… yikes! The waitress didn’t seem to care, almost throwing plates on the table. Also, we had to order all tapas at once; ordering more later wasn’t possible (weird!) Also, one thing we ordered was never served. Now for the worst: we were almost robbed by a burglar who had snuck in. At the entrance people had to wait before being escorted to their seat after their reservation was checked. Somehow, this guy found a way to still get in and had his hand on the purse belonging to someone in our group. Luckily one of us saw this and yelled, making the burglar letting loose and casually walk past us, acting if he did nothing. The personnel didn’t come to our table to apologize (the least you can do, right?) so we asked them how someone could sneak in. They reacted in an unprofessional way, like “ah well, shit happens”. Better avoid a place where there’s a chance...
