Palau del Flamenc — Local services in Barcelona

We went for the late show on a Tuesday night. As best we could tell online it looked like dinner started at 940pm with the show to follow at 1030. We got there a little early and where shown to a large waiting room. At about 940 two of the performers came into the waiting room and gave a great interactive presentation on Flamenco dancing. We were seated shortly after 10 and the meal that came with the ticket package we bought was ready to go. The food was tasty enough. Not everyone ate so if you're not interested in eating there that's fine. The dining room/ theater room was a neat room and larger than we expected. Our show had about 50 people in it and it could probably hold triple that. The show was well performed by the dancers and musicians a like and lasted the full hour. The cost is very fair for the experience, and the staff was friendly. The food is okay at best, and the flamenco show was lively; however, they should hire new singers. The beautiful guitar and passionate dancing was completely overwhelmed by the male singers (two in particular) who angry-screamed instead of sang. Perhaps the sound system was off, but our table of six as well as a larger table next to us of ten could not stop laughing whenever the guys would sing. We weren't trying to be rude, it was just literally unbearably loud and more like yelling or screaming than singing and would be so unexpected that it led to the giggles. Very horrible experience. They rudely asked us to change to seats in the Conner of the room just because one tourist group, which arrived half an hour later after the show started, came and said to have reserved the table where we were sitting. There was no sign of what so ever on the table showing it was reserved. They were extremely rude and impolite. People walking around all the time, interrupting the experience. Please be mindful that if you do not come with a tourist group or if you pay the minimal drink + show option, your experiences will be highly discounted.
