Came for breakfast with my partner. The place was very slightly hard to find. The inside had a somewhat industrial design, and most things (along with the menus) are on display on large counter.
There is no waiting staff, just who (I assume) is the owner, although it could also be because it was a Saturday perhaps.
Either way, she was welcoming and answered our questions with patience.
The food and drinks are top-notch traditionally-japanese as well as some fusion cuisine.
I ordered a yuzu velvet cake, which tasted very nice, as well as some olives on a sauce made with yuzu and shichimi.
I also ordered an edamame hummus, which came with probably the same sauce on top. And to drink, a masala chai latte.
My partner had a matcha cheesecake she described as "out of this world" (not pictured, she's making her own review)
The edamame hummus was terrific. I oftem see every kind of legume and green billed as hummis and mostly they're terrible. In this case, the mixture REALLY works, and the dressing and seasoning were perfect.
They also have lunch and are currently hosting a year-long event serving a different kind of udon each month. I'm sad to say I'll be missing out on that one, since I must return to Chile. 10/10...

I've passed this place several times but somehow thought it was a day care center. BESIDE it is the day care center .
But it's not! It's a delightful Japanese- Spanish café restaurant housed in a casually elegant building with a wide staircase leading to the terrace and the restaurant itself : spacious, airy, high ceiling, lots of natural light. Quiet.
The perfect place for lazy Sunday brunch with butter grilled sandwiches "Bikini" with double cheese and double layer of thinly sliced chorizo and another one with Camembert cheese and honey.
Both very good. So happy with this new find.
But we were so hungry we forgot to take photos!
They also have a Japanese menu and their udon offerings change every month. Surely going...
Read moreThis Japanese place, owned by a Japanese, was a discovery for me and really like it. The first time i came for lunch and I had udon for menu del dia. They also had other options like curry or salad. There's vegan menu available. The food was good, I loved the cucumber, and the udon sauce was really nice. I also had a matcha latte which was really delicious and quite big cup. Now, I'm trying the kurogoma latte 🙂. Everyone one is really nice and the place is beautiful. Very nice to have a latte or coffee while reading a book or...
