Can Eusebio — Restaurant in Barcelona

SCAM ALERT! This restaurant is pulling the, apparently common, paella trick. You order one paella and then at the end, when the bill comes they charge two paellas and claim that "the minimum charge is two people". This was not explained before-hand and we clearly would have refused if it had been explained. It's also not written in any menu. Again, if it was we would not have ordered either.

Obviously we contested the bill and it was corrected but not before their attemp to convince us that "oh it's like this in our restaurant". Two girls that ordered before us had the same issue but at the time we didn't understand the context.

The service was very bad and disorganised. We waited almost 35m for the first dish and another 40m for the next dish (the infamous paella).

I cannot understand these places. They try to scam customers out of €14.50 instead of improving their service which would bring them immensely more...

I give 1 star since I cannot give less. Totally overpriced, absolute TRAP for tourists. Regarding the food, we ordered calmari, patatas bravas and sardines all of which were GREASY and we couldn't even finish them. For drinking we wanted beer so we ordered 2 big ones (we meant 500ml), the waiter asked us, if we wanted tap beer ("it's fresh" he said) and we agreed. 5 min later all the food came (microwaved, of course) together with 2x1 liter glasses of beer...It was too late to explain we didn't ordered 2x1l...The biggest SHOCK was the check at the end - 20€ for beer which was not even close to good!!!!! If I knew that this was the price, I would have never ordered it. But you never know, it's not even in the menu. So stay away guys and save your money! NOT...

Warning!!! Do not get in this place, the waitresses are scammers. There is a lack of hygiene in the WC and other spaces. I wrote a good review of this place 3 years ago because it really seemed a good place to me. I had come many times, and everything was always great, the food quality, the price and service were always fine. But last Saturday we went there with some friends to have a drink and eat some "tapas" and we had an awful experience with the waitresses when we had to leave and pay. Firstly, they would not let us pay separately, and although we finally managed to pay part of the bill the ones who stayed for longer and paid the final bill were charged for two more beers. A mistake that was not corrected although we showed the card payment.

I also had to go to the toilet and kill a spider on the ceiling that had been there for a while because my partner is afraid of them.

It makes me very sad because this place has been special for meetings with friend for many years.

¡¡¡Advertencia!!! No te metas en este lugar, las camareras son estafadoras. Hay falta de higiene en el WC y otros espacios. Escribí una buena reseña de este lugar hace 3 años porque realmente me pareció un buen lugar. Había venido muchas veces, y todo siempre fue genial, la calidad de la comida, el precio y el servicio siempre fueron buenos. Pero el sábado pasado fuimos allí con unos amigos a tomar algo y comer unas tapas y tuvimos una experiencia horrible con las camareras cuando tuvimos que irnos a pagar. En primer lugar, no nos dejaban pagar por separado, y aunque finalmente conseguimos pagar parte de la cuenta, a los que se quedaron más tiempo y pagaron la cuenta final se les cobraron dos cervezas más. Un error que no se corrigió aunque mostramos el pago con tarjeta.

También tuve que ir al baño y matar una araña en el techo que había estado allí por un tiempo porque mi pareja les tiene miedo.

Me entristece mucho porque este lugar ha sido especial para reuniones con amigos durante...
