Can Porquet — Restaurant in Barcelona

This was, without a doubt, the biggest surpise and best food I had during a week in Barcalona. It's a small a cosy place that seemed to get much less guests then it deserves so if you read this: go there and enjoy great food!

The first evening I went there (yes I went back later) I just told the owner to surpise me with his tapas. Everything looked interesting and I eat basicly anything, so figured this was much more fun way to experience.

He did not disappoint, he provided four tapas including two in a smaller portion (1 piece instead of 2 per servicing) so i could try interesting dishes. He did not choose the most expensive things either (as he could have), he just picked four interesting and different items.

On my last evening in Barcalona, I went back to try a few of the items I did not try the first time and to get 2 of them again as they were just that good.

All in all, this place deserves so much more love then it got when...

Nous nous sommes dirigés vers le restaurant parce qu’il était proche de notre hôtel et en amateurs de charcuterie nous avons été attirés par le nom. Malgré notre espagnol très limité le propriétaire a tout fait pour nous décrire les plats. Des produits simples et de très bonne qualité, mêmes les enfants ont trouvé leur bonheur.
