Clóset Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

Serving tasteless, mushy Fingerfood, that might as well has been bought in Aldi and deep fried after, is one thing. When a customer says he is not satisfied, standing in front of him trying to teach the customer that he has no clue, is another thing. The Tapas are a joke, so is the behaviour of the people that serve the food. The prices are for the area absolutely not acceptable either. One street further you get very nice Empanadillas for 2.5€ a piece. Here you pay like (well the bill is attached) 5-7€ for deep fried mash.

The restaurant was emty when we arrived. And it had not a single customer during our stay. Guess it has a reason.

Usually I don't bother spending my time writing bad reviews. But when owners behave like chimpanzees in front of me and annoy me so much that I'm still mad the next morning, I really think it's...

Recently, my brother, and I took a vacation to Barcelona. I had traveled there many times for business. My brother had never been to Barcelona.

While giving him a tour of the Boquerria, we met the owner of Closet. She was shopping for her restaurant and recommended that we come for dinner.

We had dinner at the restaurant that evening. It was as good as anything I've had in Barcelona. All courses of the meal and wine were delicious and the price was very competitive.

We intend to return and visit the restaurant again.

Even though the restaurant itself is quite nice, the value for money is not! They try to sell menus of small portions of tapas that are totally overpriced and did not even want to let us see the actual menu that would show the prices of individual tapas. We did not order any bread but were also charged for that. Coffee does not taste good aservice well. Unfortunately no place that we would recommend to anyone. In this area of Barcelona there are much better places with great food and...
