Chulapio is a very special spot located on Carrer d'en Botella, the famous original birthplace of the rumba catalana, in Raval. They offer a great variety of drinks and cocktails; from wonderful premium to more affordable spirits, beer, and ale. Álvaro, the owner and barman, is great at preparing cocktails of all kinds, so many people come just to taste his creations. If you're hungry, Chulapio offers a great variety of delicious sweet and savory crepes any time (even late hours). Moreover, live music is on the menu as well. LOVE this place. If you have to pick one bar to visit in Barcelona, let it be Chulapio. The barman and owner Alvaro is one of the friendliest and most charming people I’ve ever met! My partner and I did a private Sangria Masterclass with him and it was the highlight of our trip 😇 The atmosphere, music, menu, lighting, and service is top notch.
