ApriBocca — Restaurant in Barcelona

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Barcelona, and I must say, their pizza left me utterly delighted!

The pizza I ordered, topped with a luscious combination of tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage, bufala stracciatella, and nduja, was an absolute masterpiece. Each bite was a burst of exquisite flavors and textures. The tomato sauce was rich and tangy, perfectly complemented by the creamy mozzarella. The addition of sausage provided a savory depth that was simply divine.

What truly set this pizza apart, though, was the bufala stracciatella and nduja. The bufala stracciatella added a velvety, melt-in-your-mouth creaminess, while the nduja brought a delightful kick of spiciness that elevated the entire experience.

The crust was impeccably thin and crispy, serving as the ideal canvas for this culinary masterpiece. The presentation was impeccable, and the aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water.

The ambiance of the restaurant transported me straight to Italy, with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentive and knowledgeable staff only added to the overall exceptional dining experience.

I'm a big fan of pizza and I reviewed many places and you know, here everybody has his or her own personal preferences, this is not my top number one in Barcelona, but definitely their pizzas have something special (mine tasted like my childhood macaroni and you can imagine, this is not something I disliked :) ), apart from that, those sandwiches made with pizza bread are big and extremely good, and the Nutella tiramisu is delicious and also not small. Hemos ido mi pareja y yo esta noche a cenar, no habíamos ido nunca y decidimos probar. Redactare esta reseña desde el respeto y la construcción únicamente para que mejoren como restaurante ya que me gusta mucho hacer reseñas y nunca va con intención de ofender, sino de mejorar. La camarera ha sido poco agradable con nosotros, no nos ha dicho nada fuera de lugar, pero se la veía sin ganas de trabajar cara al público. Hemos pedido pizza carbonara -pasta rigú a la geneve (o algo así)

La pizza carbonara era básicamente una base de tomate, jamón dulce, queso chicloso y un huevo en medio. Al ser un sitio italiano y además con camareros italianos nos ha chocado que fuera así pero bueno, no somos italianos entonces no podemos juzgar como se hace o se deja de hacer la pizza carbonara. Lo esperado era pues el guanciale, el pecorino, pimienta etc. Al probarla, se deshacía entera y tenía un saber muy básico de tomate con jamón Del 1 al 10 le hemos puesto un 1 El precio es de 13,50€ y para nosotros si sigue así, debería de costar 7-8€ ya que tampoco hemos notado que los productos sean de calidad. Seguimos con la Pasta rigú, llevaba rigú como bien dice su nombre que es una ternera hecha de x manera rollo estofado. La carne no es de calidad, se hacía bola y muuuy pesada de comer, la pasta estaba al punto y bien pero la carne dejaba mucho que desear. Me he dejado medio plato, pero ni han preguntado, ha parecido no importarles. Del 1 al 10 le damos un 3 y por la pasta.

En total la cuenta era de 36,85€ por Una cocacola 2€ Una copa de cerveza 3,5€ La pizza 13,50€ La pasta 14,50€ Y 3,35€ por terraza Para nosotros, la calidad de la comida y todo, debería de haber salido por 25€ En resumen, nos parece muy caro para lo que es.
