The brunch at the café was a disappointment. Over-the-top decorations, a bad smell, and poor lighting made the experience unpleasant. The service was rude and tried to overcharge us by billing for items we never received. The food was bland and poorly seasoned. Overall, not recommended at all.
Edit: I was definitely in the right café. The assumption that I might have been in the wrong place is not only unprofessional but also an excuse to dismiss valid criticism.
Regarding the lighting: Your café is bathed in cold blue-purple light, especially by the counter, where there is almost no lighting at all. The ambiance may appeal to some, but it is far from "bright and inviting." In fact, the cold tones make the atmosphere unwelcoming. That’s simply my impression.
As for the smell: The plastic flower decorations on the wall next to my table did smell unpleasantly like plastic, with a slightly musty odor. It was overall stuffy and uncomfortable.
About the order: Yes, we ordered extra salmon and avocado, but did not receive them. We didn’t mention it right away since it was busy, but at the end, we noticed we were still charged for those items. After pointing it out, it was corrected, but the initial experience left a bad impression. This shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Regarding the seasoning: "Spice" doesn’t just mean salt. The issue was the overall lack of flavor in the dishes, not just a lack of salt. Salt can be added after the fact, but a dish should be well-seasoned with more than just salt and pepper.
I have no interest in damaging your reputation; I'm simply sharing my honest experience. It’s unfortunate that you can’t handle criticism and instead resort to assumptions like me being in the wrong place or trying to harm your reputation. This kind of response is extremely...
Read moreMy sister wanted to go here so we went for breakfast before flying back home. I think just two vegan meal options, would be nice if even just one of the pancake/sweet options were vegan but something of course is better than nothing. Had the red velvet bagel. Dish looked the part, very pretty plate. Vegan chicken was ok texture (i got that as an add on) but sadly the bagel was tough to cut/bite and the vegan cheese which is also an add on to that specific dish so you must of course pay extra was virtually non existent. I didn't actually notice it until i was nearly finished, didn't taste it at, extremely finely grated. My sister had to point it out on the plate to me as I thought it had been missed. My sister enjoyed her meal and drinks were good. I think this place was understaffed on our visit as well because it was a real challenge to get someones attention to ask for the bill and then pay said bill. We arrived early but about 10mins after we arrived the restaurant started to fill up. We wanted to ask about cakes to takeaway as they all looked amazing but feared it would take more time than we had. Lovely space, cute interiors, perfect for the girlies insta photos doing brunch,...
