El Pescadito de Mandri — Restaurant in Barcelona

A perfect meal! It is a local pro-people fish restaurant that is delicious and professional. Today, we use a special order method. We give the clerk a budget and invite the clerk to help us choose what they think is the best dishes according to their characteristics and popularity and taste them. I can only say that the restaurant is really warm and great.

We sat down by the window with flowers and chose lemonade to drink.

We tasted at least three kinds of fish with different flavours and different ingredients. Each method is different. The fried fish is crispy and the meat is very tender. The selection of high-quality fish makes me feel that the fish is dancing on my tongue, which is definitely a first-class ingredient. The chef‘s control of the heat has reached a first-class level, and you can even see that the fish bones are still pink. I understand very well that when we finish the meal, we can see many people of the age of our grandparents and uncles eating through the whole store. The shrimp here is really a surprise as an appetiser. It’s cold, and the shrimp‘s head still has a sweet taste, which is very fresh. Seafood must be eaten fresh.

What also surprised us was the homemade dessert after the meal. A soft product similar to pudding and cheesecake were simply eye-catching, and it was delicious that would set off fireworks in the brain.

The arrangement and decoration of this store are in a very old-fashioned style, but they are very clean. It may not put a lot of effort into decoration or publicity like many fast-fashion chain stores, but it is meticulous in terms of taste and service. We will recommend this store to all friends who come to Barcelona.

The clerk also expressed his welcome to the guests far away and gave us two shots, one with flower flavour and one with lemon flavour.

Very expensive for the food quality you get. Restaurant is nice, but best to stay away from the “tapas-style” food, like the deep fried sardines, which were the worst we’ve ever had. Ensaladilla rusa wasn’t the best either, and the home-made croquetas were so-so. We did have the fish of the day which was better, although the french fries that came with it...
