We had no idea what to expect. It is quite a large building and we were confused where we should start our visit as there are lots and lots of rooms & inner area's that do not really have something to do with the main exhibition. We also wanted to have something to drink first at the cafeteria, but were confused and thought we had to enter the museum first. That apparently was not the case, and we weren't sure if we could re-enter after leaving. We did find a candy & drinks machine outside in a pick-nick area that is still part of the paid museum area. We then followed the spiral walkway down and arrived in an area about Antarctic exploration. After this, you can go in the building where we walked through an interactive exhibition about sound & music which was quite interesting and fun to play with the various interactive elements/instruments. Only then did we reach the seemingly actual exhibition area that is filled with tons of fun technical hands-on experiences/experiments, teaching you about physics and other scientific topics. You could really spend quite some time here if you try out everything and read everything there is to read. There is a vague differentiation between these topics by the color of stands. In general, we were quite impressed with the quality and variety of things to see & do. But we would have preferred having a more clear guidance on what we should visit and where we can find things in this huge building. The highlights for me was the cloud chamber that shows the decay of radiation particles. I would definitely recommend visiting...
