From the moment we arrived, the experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The service at the entrance set the tone for the evening, with a warm welcome and impeccable attention to detail. The décor is absolutely stunning, creating a perfect ambiance that elevates the entire dining experience.

The staff deserve high praise for their attentive and friendly service, making us feel truly valued as guests. I must give a special mention to Otman, whose exceptional service stood out—he went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect.

However, it’s important to note that every staff member we encountered provided excellent service, making the experience seamless from start to finish.

Now, onto the food—oh, the food! I cannot compliment it enough. From the starters to the desserts, every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was worth every pound spent.

Glorious Barcelona Cuisine at its finest!

Located in the plush surroundings of the Hotel Gran Melia, Erre & Urrechu stands out as a hidden gem. The professionalism of the staff is top notch with Marco and Gwillem providing a pitch perfect balance between discretion and attentiveness. And Chef Inigo was a delight, making sure that every guest present felt welcome and part of the family. We were celebrating a notable birthday, and every effort was made to accommodate us. From the amuse bouche, all the way through to dessert, each dish captured not only our taste buds, but our imaginations as well. The Lobster Salad was particularly nice, as was the beef breast rib, but the freshly baked warm bread had us coming back for more!

I ordered the lobster dish expecting the traditional large-claw lobster, but it turned out to be a spiny lobster (or clawfish) instead. I just wish there had been some clarification on the menu, as the taste and texture were quite different from what I anticipated. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.
