The Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I Terrace by the pool cannot be compared to another experience in Barcelona. Eating here is like escaping to a luxurious oasis without leaving the city! I've also done a cooking workshop there and it was so fun! It's 35 euros for the experience, and they teach you how to prepare 5-7 dishes, recipes and ingredients all included.

Restaurant located inside the beautiful Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel. Its a nice terrace decorated with romantic lights in which u can spend a great dinner time. They offers grilled food and the chicken was very nice, the cheese mus as a desert was weird but tasty and we liked it. Service was also very good. Prices are a bit high, but food is worthy.

Quina troballa. Qualitat extraordinària en el menjar i un servei exquisit ( Maria, cap de sala, tant atenta com el nostre cambrer, Carmine ). Tot cuinat a la brasa, al punt exacte que un demana ( què n’és de difícil trobar un restaurant que respectin el punt de cocció ). No és barat ( 200,00€ un àpat per 4 persones d’un sol plat amb vi a copes i sense postre ) però no hem d’oblidar on és el restaurant ( Fairmont 5*GL ) i l’entorn idíl·lic ( sembla el Carib ). La millor costella de vedella Angus que hem menjat mai, es desfeia així com el garrí. Pa sense gluten per a la nostra filla i tot in que no les ofereixen a la carta, han fet pels nens patates fregides en oli sense contaminació creuada. Quina sensibilitat i voluntat de servei. No era la nostra primera vegada però sí amb els nens i de migdia. Repetirem aviat.

Would like to give more stars but it was closed when we arrived. We had booked a table online via Google maps, and got a confirmation back. However, when we arrived we were told it was closed until Spring. The staff at the hotel seemed to think we should know this...even though I showed them confirmation of our table booking.

To be fair, they did give us a table at the hotel's restaurant, so we could eat.

Be warned - the hotel/Terrace doesn't seem to maintain its Google listing, or its online...
