Edit: unfortunately there is no option for me to reply to the owners comment below therefore I am adding it here. I would like to state that I was in fact already sitting down at the table and had ordered a coffee, only to be told afterwards that it was not possible. The staff did not in fact inform us of this rule before we sat down, read the menu and waited on the service. There was no line of people waiting for lunch, it was a Monday. If these are in fact your rules perhaps they should be better displayed and perhaps you shouldn't serve coffee at all. I have never heard of any other place who serves coffee, refuse to make one for a willing paying customer who is already been seated by one of your staff and has waited for their service.

Original comment: Horrible experience. Came in for a coffee at 1pm and was told that they do not sell coffee at lunch time only after lunch. When I asked why its because the bar is too busy making cocktails and beers. The waiter then added if I wanted to buy food from their overpriced menu I would be able to have coffee afterwards. We ordered 2 Hugo spritz, it was flat with old Prosecco/soda in it. We told the waiter who told us we were wrong, it had fizz in it, after persevering they then told us we had let it go flat? The barman then came over to also tell us we were wrong, we asked for another drink to replace the cocktails. He took my friends order and stormed off before asking for mine. We got up and told the hostess we didn’t want to stay for a replacement drink. The manager then came over to tell us we couldn’t leave without paying, and asked us if it was because we couldn’t afford it, bearing in mind the prices were on the menu we looked at before ordering. He then threatened to call the police. The hostess tried our drinks and agreed they weren’t right, and said the manager shouldn’t have said that. They made us an aperol spritz to take away as they said they were going to dock the waitresses wages if we didn’t pay and at that point we just wanted to be done with the situation. The aperols were also flat. €28 euro for 2 awful cocktails and awful rude service. Clearly out to just scam tourists. Would highly recommend taking your business...

Misleading Prices and Hidden Fees – Avoid at All Costs

We rented an umbrella and two beach chairs, only to discover they charged each person a different price for the exact same service! On top of that, the prices on the menu didn’t match what we were billed on the final receipt. Even for drinks, they hit us with hidden fees and constant upcharges.

The bar claims to serve drinks in reusable cups for 1 euro to “save the environment,” with the promise the fee will be refunded—that’s false advertising. We returned the cups to support the mission, yet never received our compensation.
