We went here a couple of nights ago. I have to say that the staff was beyond nice and they knew what to recommend. The place is small but really cute. So we ordered patatas bravas, oh my..you have to try them they were to die for!! They are different in every place! So we ordered our food, they gave us free bread and Bizcocho de pescado- cake of fish-maybe not exact translation but it was good. So we started off in a good foot. I didn't know what to order and the Waitress Martha suggested a red wine, yum! Then we ordered bread with tomatoes and Jamon Iberico, it was good. Have been wanting to try this venue for some time, but was hesitant given the 4.2 rating. This place easily deserves 4.5+. The service was very friendly and attentive with plating attention equivalent to a higher end venue. The bravas are a Michelin presentation and taste, highly recommend. The bacalao croqueta was perfection. The entraña with chimichurri was hands down the most delicious cut of meat. I wanted to order it a second time in the same sitting. The chorizo croqueta was not my favorite, but my husband very much liked it. Hoy hemos ido a comer a este restaurante por primera vez aunque lo habíamos visto muchas veces y nunca entramos. Leyendo la carta decidimos reservar para comer en la terraza, que es cierto que no es la más cómoda de Barcelona pero el resto es todo de 10!. Teníamos miedo de los precios por aquello de "cocina de mercado" que aprovechan los restaurantes para meterte un clavo curioso, pero estando enfrente del mercado del Putxet se entiende este slogan. La carta es muy variada y de precios muy contenidos para la exquisita calidad de la cocina. Todo está cocinado con mucho gusto, hay mucho trabajo detrás, con mucho sabor, mucho guiso. Platos muy bien presentados. Nosotros comimos unas tapas de ensaladilla, berenjenas y patatas bravas. Qué simple pero qué bien hechas. Las bravas para nosotros son top 1 de Barcelona, incluso por encima de las del Bar Tomás. Ricas, sabrosas y suaves siendo bravas. De principal tomamos unos callos con garbanzos distintos a los que conozco pero muy ricos y con mucho sabor. Tomamos también unas alcachofas con gambas y calamares que estaban impresionantes, un guiso de fondo que hubo que repetir pan para poder mojar, pan por cierto que elaboran en el restaurante. Unos tagliettele con trufa que tenían mucho sabor. Las raciones suficientes, no abundantes pero sí suficientes. De postre una original espuma de crema catalana que no quedó nada, como de todos los platos. Éramos 4 personas, familia pero adultos los 4. De bebida agua y un café y pagamos poco más de 80 €, algo muy contenido para el barrio y la ciudad. Lo mejor, de todas formas, la atención del personal, absolutamente sublime con un cuidado por el detalle espectacular. Supieron que quería dar una sorpresa con el plato principal a mi mujer y cuidaron todo el proceso para que no se enterase de lo que iba a comer hasta que le pusieron el plato en la mesa.
