A very nice place where it's possible to eat until late (very late)! Cuisine (mediterranean and international) is made up of simple but elaborate in its choice of ingredients and seasonings, balanced and made with passion (and that changes everything)! To share or to taste with a lot of selfishness (it's so good)! The decoration is chosen with taste, original (the theme of the 4 seasons through a small garden) and the place very welcoming, intimate, warm and friendly. What about the service, if not... such a beautiful meeting made in Barcelona, beautiful moments of laughter and exchange ❤️! The little extra, the creative cocktails 👌! Don't hesitate, it's definitely worth the detour! And if you're a Mezcal lover (like me), ask for le bisou (to be pronounced the French way)! This cocktail isn't on the menu, but the experience is there! For information, the establishment also offers cocktail creation workshops 😉 ! Jardinet de Garcia is much more than a place where you feel good! It is a cocoon, a refuge, a space to dream and for dreamers lost in the middle of the wild nights of Barcelona. The most lovely dreamcatcher... Thank you for these...
Read moreI went there for a meet-up event, and at first, the manager "Maria Izabel" seemed all friendly and nice.
In a very crowded corridor and small place, the Manager, Maria left her scooter next to the main door, and by accident, I dropped it, than pick up and put back in it's place.
Few minutes later the manager comes at me angry starting to fight me because I dropped her scooter in Spanish, even though I had just ordered a drink and was talking to her in English. She had 0 respect and told me that if break I would have to pay.
In the first place, the scooter should not even be there, it is a hazard for the patrons, and then she showed me her true colors.
She was very rude and thought she was the main authority there, that could say or do anything that nothing would impact her. People like that should never be a manager, it needs to have someone above to control it's behavior otherwise one day it will not be a simple argument or a scooter in a crowded cocktail bar.
What frustrates me the most is not being able to talk to anyone there that would be above Maria, as I have never seen a "MANAGER" treat it's customers with so much disrespect like...
Read moreI’ve been going to this bar for a language exchange meet up for a year and I have to admit that it used to be a very nice place. But last month the manager (Maria) restricted all people from the meet up to the corridor where we were staked up for 3 hours like cows waiting to be slaughtered and were milked force to consummate drinks standing like sardines in a box. 30 min before closure, we were finally “aloud” to sit and then after forcing us to order more drinks, she explained that this area was reserved for “customers”. And as far as I remember, I’ve paid all my consumptions and have even spend a lot of money in that bar since I’ve been a regular to the language exchange. After asking her to be nicer to us, she decided to insulte me in Spanish (assuming I did not understand). After this last encounter, I’ve decided to give it another chance and this time, she insulted my roommate who dropped a scooter standing in the corridor (where we were again restricted to). Therefore, I can no longer recommend this place and recommend the bar down the street called “old fashioned”....
