Local 92 Bcn (cuina italiana, Pizzeria vegana) PIZZERIA — Restaurant in Barcelona

I am extremely disappointed. I visit this restaurant every few weeks, have recommended it to multiple people, and often bring guests here. However, tonight’s experience was incredibly disappointing due to the poor service and attitude we received.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at our table. We placed our usual order, including drinks. Just four minutes later, a lasagna arrived for my partner, but I received neither my food nor our drinks. The waiter asked if I wanted food, and I explained that I had already ordered the gnocchi. It seems they might not have heard my original order, which is understandable. I asked if they could keep my partner’s food warm while we waited for the rest of the order.

Some of our drinks were eventually brought out. Then, the gnocchi arrived, but it was not served as usual in bread. When I pointed this out, they informed me that the pizza oven was broken. They were quite rude about it and returned to the kitchen without offering any further explanation.

As a regular customer, I am very disappointed with the service and attitude tonight. I hope you can improve your service for loyal customers in the future. It might have been due to the fact that our usual waiter wasn’t present, but everything felt...

It’s very difficult for me to list the must-try because the starters are amazing and remind me of my grandma south Italy kitchen, the pasta is fresh and homemade , the desserts makes you wonder are can they do that in a vegan version. I celebrated me and my partner anniversary and the moment the staff realised this details they brought us a small extra dessert with a candle (how cute is that?). Having a new owner since September to 2024 now offering vegan and vegetarian options we hopped in curious on how it would be. After having a superb lasagne on the first day which was very light and no such 'stomach breaker' you sometimes get we had to come back the other day to try the pizza. The pizzaiolo did a wonderful job also showing his art in front of the wood oven. We could definitely feel the passion he has for his job and - even more important - taste it. He told us he lets the dough grow 72 hours and we could definitely taste the difference. One of the best Pizza in my live.
