JUST DONT GO! I don’t write many reviews, but I had to write this one.
We found the place on google and were curious to try a good pizza for dinner, so we reserved.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a table and given the menu. We intended ordering a starter and drinks while choosing our mains, pizza. However, we were advised by the rude female waiter (I suggest looking for a job not exposed to customers) that this was not possible for some kitchen software they are using. We ordered as an appetiser the provolone to be followed by two pizze and a beer and a Coke Zero.
What arrived to the table after the drinks was the provolone and one pizza. We were told the other pizza was not ordered from the kitchen yet. Upon requesting it, the rude waiter finally talked to the kitchen and asked for the pizza to be made (nicer to eat together than one after the other…). I was stunned by the lack of flexibility and coordination.
The pizza finally was ok (3/5), but not worth the price. Better options are around the corner (Pummarola, A33) - you will have a great time...
Read moreI’m not sure if it’s because they had a bad night or not but I had a disappointing experience here which surprised me considering the reviews are quite good. However, after reviewing the reviews posted by Italians I see a common trend of low stars. Apart from the friendly service, it was hard to find anything enjoyable about this meal. The cheese platter was underwhelming with low quality oily cheeses and a bunch of wilted lettuce stuck to the honey smeared over the bottom of the plate - a lazy excuse of a cheeseboard. The ragu was under seasoned and extremely bland which was surprising considering they use San Marzano tomatoes - it was just extremely bland and cooked with zero passion (or skill). I consider myself very knowledgable on Italian cuisine considering my mother is Italian and having in lived in Italy for my university years, I was just very disappointed with the food served here - it is simply low quality and not good. Unfortunately, not a good...
Read moreI would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. I was looking for somewhere close to where I was staying and did my research. I saw this place had good reviews but am always a little cautious of placing too much value on reviews. After having eaten here though, I can honestly say it was excellent. I got the 5 Terre and tiramisu and they were really delicious. The service was so quick and friendly and the lovely waiter, Santiago, gave me recommendations. The other waiter, Eduardo, was also great. I had a nice seat by the window and thoroughly enjoyed my little solo dining experience. When I arrived at 8:30 the place was quiet (because Spaniards eat late) but by the time I left the place was packed. It’s obviously a popular spot. Truly, you won’t go wrong with this one. I wish I could eat my meal...
