This place came highly recommended by our walking tour guide, who is a native of Barcelona. However, our experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, the glassware was dirty, even after we asked for a replacement. The Parmesan salad, though tasty, was served in a very small portion for its price of $13.5. The paella, which we were eagerly anticipating, turned out to be salty. My husband can't even take a bite. To be honest, we eat fairly bland so this might be our problem. The muscle doesn't taste fresh and all the seafood in paella was small bits. We paid almost $50 without drinks for a small size salad and a paella for one person. Things that should be taken for granted in a place like that. The food was very expensive and definitely not worth it. It was nothing special, eatable and not that great. I ordered small fish for over 17 EUR and got some small fried sardines, no garnish, no side salat, no lemon. My husband had paella - also nothing special. Overall a very disappointing experience. Not to...
