Onofre — Restaurant in Barcelona

Food is okay, but overpriced. Service was astronomically horrible. Table of three we ordered 3 tapas, cappuccino and cava. It took exceptionally long for the food to come out, and when we realized we were missing the croquette waiter forgot to write it down. Took another 20 minutes for that. Croquettes came and still frozen in the middle. We confronted the waiter and showed her they were still frozen and she got annoyed with us and started speaking Spanish in which she thought I didn’t know. Really, really delicious and value for money. Hidden gem.

We came here for dinner. It was kind of hidden as it looked like just a store from outside and you can’t see the restaurant seating. Service was attentive, and the food was really good! We had the pate with pear compote, croquetas, bread with tomato, goat cheese salad, duck confit, the brownie dessert, plus 2 glasses of wine. The food was all very, very good. Extremely impressed by the goat cheese salad and the brownie dessert as the taste were really well balanced and the whole dish well executed. After getting really full from all the food we ordered the bill only came out to be 36 euros... felt like this could be 50-60 euros if it were a touristy...
