My husband's backpack got snatched while sitting there. It was a blink second. SO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU'RE THERE. We talked with a couple of people at the police station who had the same problem. Really did not get any help because we told that particular Police who took the report for us. The thief was in the BRONSON WLB shoe store and that store has CCTV. Not even pay attention. The only thing he wanted to do was to get rid of us ASAP after writing the report. I have a gut feeling that that shoe store is linked with this kind of crime. I went to that store to request to check CCTV and the guy I met seemed very nice and told me that he would let his boss check. So I was thinking and hoping to get help and I told him I would come back tomorrow. He said they opened 11-8. When I went there the next day, it was closed. We got stressed out because our flight was the next day. My husband thought he couldn't go back home without a passport. Our vacation time was ruined. BTW, if you get the same problem, just freeze your credit card and debit card on the spot. Don't think like us to go Police right away because they will not catch those snatchers. Police said he could write the report before stopping the cards. I have no idea about it. While we were busy finding the Police station, the thief started using all the cards. As I mentioned before, they are not alone. I told my husband that that was our fault for letting them have an opportunity so I didn't blame the snatcher but I wish the Police would have helped the foreigners because tourism helps their country for business. In reality, I think the Police might think stupid tourists came and kept us busy. ☺️ just want to share the story so that People who still want to go visit...

Did we mention that we’re also steps away from several of Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces on the Manzana de la Discordia – the Block of Discord.
