When I was young(-er)... I feel like I'm saying this quite a lot lately... 🤔 Anyway, when I was young(-er), I used to go to the movies a lot. And I used to go to the last session, which, in 🇪🇸, takes place at 10 / 11 pm, or to the previous one and have dinner afterwards. I can't do this anymore so I eat in the movies... I mean I eat food I bring from outside... I know, I'm not supposed to do it but theater food isn't great... 😅 Last time my wife and I went to the movies, we stopped by Pai Mei to take away a 🐓 katsu don and a bao for me and some sort of chop suey for my wife. We only had to wait 6 minutes 👏, then we went to the theater, took our seats, waited for the movie to begin and started eating. First off, we got too much food. And, given that we paid €11 per person (no drinks, no desserts), the price was more than fair. 👍 The food was correct, although I found the sauce of the katsu don too sweet and the outer part of the bao got dry, probably because I waited too long to eat it. 😐 And then comes the part where I would tell my son that, when you don't follow the rules, life punishes you. While I was eating my relatively smooth food, I chewed something very hard. I first thought one of my 🦷 broke. But I spit that thing and realized it was a quite big piece of dark plastic, very sharp. I'm lucky I chewed it cause that thing could easily have killed me! 😱 Since the restaurant was on our way home, we stopped by to let them know about what happened, so they can make sure that wouldn't happen to anybody else. They made me wait like 5 minutes 😠 then they told me that this piece of plastic couldn't come from them as they have no tools of this material or color.... 😡 I suggested that this could come from one of the ingredients of the donburi and that they should throw everything away, just in case. They said thank you but I'm pretty sure they did nothing. 😤 As for me, besides timid apologies, I got nothing.... I wasn't expecting anything, but they could have offered, at least. 🤷♂️

Read moreI felt like having some rice and Asian food after traveling for a month. I found this place as walking passed. The restaurants seemed to sell Chinese and other Asian food. I saw padthai on the menu but didn't order because it didn't look like padthai to me.
I went by ordering tagoyaki, fried chicken with rice, and prawn shumai. They had the big portion and the food were quick. But you couldn't find the authentic ones here. It is fine if you want a quick bite and something values for money. But if it is for authentic Asian food I could say not padthai, nor Japanese dishes. Chinese dish like fried noodles and wanton soup seem like their...
Read moreBeautiful spot. The decor, the lighting the pulp culture mix of Asian art was on point. The food was good, but it was tough to order. You have to wait in line and pre-order before you sit down and the descriptions of the Asian food were a bit confusing. As a person who is Asian and travels in Asia, I will tell you that, though the food was delicious. It was not quite authentic. However, that being said, I definitely would bring friends here because the ambience was really cool and the...
