This is the perspective of a craft beer loving American tourist on a wine trip, lol. Our tour guide laughed that our favorite thing to do when we travel is try local breweries (don't worry we did try lots of great local wine). This was one of the few places we found on our search and were thrilled to support any local breweries in Barcelona. We had a lovely walk, enjoyed an open window seat overlooking the street, and felt like a stereotype while we ate 6pm dinner with pizza, beer, and fries hahaha. My husband really enjoyed the IPAs. I tried 2 different beers the honey one was good the other type I forget was just okay. The food my husband ordered was delicious! I ordered the individual pizza which was quite large (and I mean we love our big portions of food lol). There was some type of cheese on the pizza that was just too pungent for me but all in all it was good. Our beautiful and kind server said her English wasn't very good, but we disagree (and it was far better than our Spanish). She got everything just right, made sure to check if we needed another round of drinks (lol something we struggled with in France....one round of drinks and then never saw a server again lol), and she even asked if I needed a to go box. Which I laughed because I always do but because of pungent cheese I did my best to convey how happy I was to have the option even though I had to decline. The server had such a lovely smile and was just so kind and patient with us. If we ever find ourselves back in Barcelona we would happily visit...
Read moreMusic is way too out loud to speak with someone, even at the bar. I ordered on nepia beer, and there were no more left, so I chose a red lager. Then I ordered a 4 cheese pizza, and they said there is no more pizza, so I chose a hamburger and a friend ask for a veggie burger. Two minutes later the waiter came and said "there is no more veggie burger, I can offer you a veggie wrap", and my friend started reading the menu again. And the waiter came and offer her a 4 cheese pizza! unbelievable!!!! So I asked for the 4 cheese pizza.... guess what? first 4 cheese pizza with no blue cheese, roquefort or anything like that.... The guy brought the food and after 15 minutes he came back with the bill saying his shift is over and we need to pay asap. To order a beer at the bar you can spend between 15 and 30 minutes with a not full place. We were having a really bad time due to the temperature, since there is not air conditioner in the place, it's extremelly hot. and we went downstairs, and there is impossible to breathe due to the heat. Won't come again. I don't...
Read moreThe worst hamburger I’ve ever had, period. The owner should be ashamed of running a disgusting place like this. You’ll find more QUALITY and definitely more taste at the McDonald’s one street over.
I can’t believe someone went through the effort of opening such a large Cerveseria in a central location, hiring architects, marketing, and everything, only to forget to hire an actual cook.
It’s pretty obvious that the burgers are pre-cooked, frozen and reheated. They claim these are smash burgers, but they’re not. They also forgot to put bacon and onions on mine, so I literally got a bun with these disgusting burgers, an egg, and NO SAUCE.
I was unable to finish my meal; I couldn’t eat. I never leave food on my plate if I can avoid it, but this time I felt like I was going to throw up. I wasn’t the only one in my group.
The pizzas and fries are also clearly frozen pre-cooked products that they just heat up. I don’t know about the meat.
To top it all off, it’s not even that cheap. 5-star reviews are paid...
