A very cosy interior, cool decor, and really friendly vibe. We got there at around 10.15 and managed to get a table even though the restaurant was totally packed. Definitely not a tourist trap, as most of the people there spoke Catalan/ Castilian, and the waitress didn't try to speak to us in English (win!). Although the vibe and the service was very good, to be completely honest, the food did not blow me away. I got the umami stroganoff, one friend got one with spinach, and the others got one with sun-dried tomatoes and olives. I'd say mine was the best, as it wasn't completely utterly over salted. However the dish with sun dried tomatoes and olives (perhaps by nature of the ingredients) I thought to be a bit inedible due to its saltiness. The pasta however, had a very good texture, and the portions were generous. My friend's pasta with spinach I thought to be a little bit tasteless but not too salty so that was a plus. Overall, I'd say the food was a 3.5/5 and I'd give the recommendation to the restaurant to perhaps try to use more fresh (seasonal?) Read moreThis was heaven! There are not enough words to describe how amazing this place is. The food, the staff, the service (!) - everything was the best(est) ever. Certainly one of our favorite restaurants so far - and we’re trying a lot. We ordered loaded gnocchi for starters with a delicious pomodoro sauce and as mains pasta catalonia and amalfi. We were quite full and decided to get the mini doughnuts to go, but when they came we couldn’t resist and they were to die for! Best dessert we had in a long while, a touch crispy on the outside, super soft and chewy inside with a delicious filling. My my, kudos to the chefs. We went home with a big fat grin on our faces. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu as we had a hard time deciding anyway. Thanks to the team for having us, being so welcoming and for running this truly great place! Our order: Vino Tinto Crianza ( it's a young wine , not very dry in the mouth) , ObLemon Lemondade, Loaded Gnocci Mushrooms Clasico Pastan - Comfort You, Formentera pasta ( you can mention the spice level from 1-10). We ordered spice level 7 which wasn't very spicy as per Indian level. 5 would be good for people with less spice tolerance.
The food is amazing. You have to eat it to believe it. The chef was very fast. The restaurant was filled by 13:30 hrs and everyone had something to eat on their tables. The waiters (women) were very friendly and helped with recommendations as well. There are 7-8 tables and no outside sitting option.
