I visited Pinga Boteco with a group of friends while we were in Barcelona, first week in June, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, the experience was special, Helena welcomed us warmly, explained the menu with such passion, even showed us photos of the dishes, and then sat with us for a bit. It felt like we were being hosted by an old friend. A truly memorable moment.
As for the food, EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. We tried a bit of everything, and I’ll share some photos, but my personal top three were: ‘pastelito de gambás’, ‘torrezno’ and ‘tostada de Sardina’. Everything was full of flavor and prepared with care. When Helena suggested trying the torrezno with lime, onion, and mint, I was skeptical, but wow, it was surprisingly amazing!!!
My friend ordered the banana split and loved it, saying it was one of the best she’d ever had.
Tiago was also incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Obrigada Tiago ☺️
I highly recommend Pinga Boteco and will definitely be back on my next visit to Barcelona. Thank you so much for such a warm and unforgettable...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of having dinner at Pinga and I couldn’t be happier about my last night in Barcelona because of the amazing experience I had there! The service is exceptional and the food is exquisite. I would say it’s the Spanish cuisine in its sexy version, because the classics got a punch and were spiced up with personality and some fusion references of the gastronomic experiences of the chef! I had the Gilda Roja, the torrezno, the pulpito caliente, the pudin de tapioca to close as dessert and the home made vermut to drink. Every dish was a delight, the vermut was very special and I could feel the quality of the products in the food. If you like memorable experiences, I strongly recommend you to visit Pinga and try their delicious food! If you don’t, you might start to like them after going there (: I hope you enjoy it as...
Read moreThis place offers a wide range of creative food options, from small portions to generous plates. The dishes are always fresh, fragrant, and full of unexpected twists. While most have a Brazilian touch, the menu also reflects influences from the owners’ travels and personal passions. The beer is the coldest I’ve had in Barcelona—just as you’d hope from a Brazilian spot. The rotating menu is best discovered with Adriano’s guidance; he not only makes great suggestions but also shares engaging conversation. Helena, the creative force behind the menu, still finds time to warmly welcome guests. I’ll definitely return with...
