We were lucky to eat at Present restaurant on their opening night, and it was a wonderful experience. Present restaurant is a cozy, classy, and elegant restaurant where every detail has been meticulously curated. An intimate ambiance of only 5 tables allows for an exquisite dining experience, with exceptional service. White table cloths, elegant silverware/dinnerware, and beautiful wine glasses adorn the tables. We had the opening night tasting menu, and it was a festival for the senses. We were offered three different kinds of wines, paired perfectly with every part of the menu. Leo, the chef, prepared spectacular dishes that were extraordinary, making evident his vast experience in the kitchen. The ceps butter was out of this world, the salmon was fresh and original, the lamb and shallots were delicious, and to finish it off, the Mascarpone dessert, not too sweet, not to heavy was perfect. We were a party of four and unanimously agreed that the service was impeccable. Thank you to Arantxa for providing such top-notch hospitality to all her guests. She ran the service all by herself, flawlessly.

The food was great too and we had their tasting menu at the most reasonable of price. Each dish was well-curated with seasonal ingredients and top produces sourced locally. Our favourites include the tear pea, the calchot, the artichoke, the cod confit, the lamb, the cheese and also the dessert with lavender cream. This is one of those pearls that you are always looking for, but that you so rarely find. We had a delicious lunch here for €22 per person: two starters, main course and dessert (a glass of wine is included in the price). The dishes are perfect, surprising and taste delicious. The service is very friendly, helpful and correct and speaks excellent English. There are only 5 tables, so reservations are necessary. If you want the seasonal tasting menu (€44) you must reserve at least three days in advance.
