Çiğköftem Barcelona | Turkish Veggie Fast Food — Restaurant in Barcelona

We discovered this place through an order we placed on Too Good To Go, and honestly, we did not expect much at first. But we were absolutely, pleasantly surprised!

We arrived about 30 minutes early and asked if we could use their restroom. The two ladies welcomed us with genuine friendliness and set the tone for the entire experience.

On top of that, the Cuban lady serving food kindly offered to prepare our order earlier than scheduled (something quite unusual) and we happily accepted.

She went above and beyond by asking which sauces we preferred and even explaining each item she carefully placed in the bag.

That level of attention is not something you normally expect with a Too Good To Go pickup.

Each food item was also packed neatly and securely, with a transparent film sealing the boxes. This prevented anything from spilling in the bag and made enjoying the meal at home even easier and more pleasant.

The food itself was excellent - we especially enjoyed the çiğ köfte, hummus, flatbread and fresh greens. Everything was flavorful and fresh.

Thanks to this first, very positive encounter, we will definitely be coming back to dine in and visit regularly.

I often order çiğköfte but l have still issue with pomegranate sauce, when l ask pomegranate sauce always l am getting very chilly sauce which totally cover çiğköfte’s taste. And l regret to choose pomegranate sauce option. Today l ordered it again but there was huge amount chilly sauce instead of pomegranate sauce again. Pomegranate sauce is sweet sour taste not chili , the sauce you are adding it is not pomegranate sauce !! Please use pomegranate sauce or if you add chilli sauce in place of pomegranate , change the name of this pomegranate sauce option. It’s annoying. Ayran is too small and expensive. The service is quite fast. Everything is fine except the pomegranate...

Fui por primer vez hace poco: me defraudó en muchos sentidos y no lo recomendaría.

La publicidad es engañosa porque muestran un local amplio y con mesas bajas pero es pequeñisimo y apenas tiene 5 mesas altas cara a la pared (es decir q max. 2pers por mesa) en un estrecho pasillo; en la promo ponen como 10 salsas pero apenas tienen 4 y según que pidas tiene que ser la que toca.. La chica tiene tan pocas ganas de vivir como de explicar el producto ya que le preguntamos varias veces y no hubo manera de que nos contase que era ni como funcionaba, solo se nos quedaba mirando (bastante incómodo). Para los inexpertos como yo: el cigkofem es algo parecido al falafel pero muy blandito y que usan de base para todos los preparados; y todos sus preparados se sirven fríos, no hacen nada caliente. Al final pedimos varias cosas entre ellas un pack del que nos puso la lechuga con trozos podriditos (q se veían muy claramente) y ni pepinillos ni maíz ni nada (que ahora sabemos que iban incluidos). En si la comida tenía buen sabor pero no lo pudimos disfrutar.

EN CUANTO A VUESTRA RESPUESTA: En las redes ponéis imágenes q no corresponden pero etiquetas el local de Barcelona, para mí es claramente publicidad engañosa; y da igual lo q digan las reseñas pq preguntamos por el producto varias veces y pedimos a ciegas porque la chica no se prestó a explicarnos, no fue antipática pero dio la sensación de no saber lo que vende. De haber tenido la información habríamos disfrutando con un pedido completamente diferente. Íbamos con mucha ilusión por los comentarios y lo que se ve en redes pero...
