Restaurant Funicular — Restaurant in Barcelona

I wish I could give the owner and his wife 10 stars…every time I come to Barcelona I MUST eat at their incredibly delicious restaurant…I had the best wild turbot with the most perfectly delicately sautéed asparagus, baby carrots ,haricot vert, snow peas and another kind of bean I’ve never had before, with the best olive oil and the perfect amount of salt, the freshest olives, a plate of other sautéed fresh vegetables, 2 outstanding oysters and hands down the lightest, crispest pan con tomate I have ever eaten I LOVE this place,, sadly I was with someone that does not eat fish or door gras… the owners and I share similar taste budsYUM…. This restaurant is consistently hands down my favorite place...

Pequeño, formato bar de callejón donde jamás entraría porque lo que te imaginas es que hay los tres típicos asiduos que están siempre con la botella de Estrella Damm delante. En parte si, pero en parte, error. Yo entré creyendo que era otro que me salía en Google con el mismo nombre y resulta que dentro tienen una comida de nivel restaurante ya sobresaliente. El servicio, que por lo que veo en otros comentarios, solo hay el señor que nos atendió en todo momento, muy correcto y muy formal, dándole mil vueltas a otros restaurantes donde pretenden ser algo y el servicio lo destruye por completo. Aquí no, solo un señor muy correcto te sirve los platos y te dice su elaboración. Eso sí, es caro, muy caro, demasiado caro, para tener pinta de bar y ver al fondo todas las cajas del almacén. Para cobrar esos precios todo entra: producto, servicio, decoración del local, lavabos, aire acondicionado, luz, etc. Lo recomiendo, pero solo por los precios/local YO no regresaré. Que me ha gustado conocerlo, si, mucho, pero una vez. Por terminar recomiendo como cliente, una mejor publicidad exterior para que la gente sepa la buena cocina que hay dentro y no pase inadvertido, porque de verdad merece...

One of the very best meals I’ve had in Barcelona each dish surpassed the previous one even the bread with tomatoes concasse’ and the best testing olive oil ever blew me away… Crazy delicious turbo vegetables and the homemade ravioli with Walgra and mushrooms were to die for don’t miss this place a little hole in the wall that is a diamond...
