This restaurant was extremely busy. So we assumed food would be nice and fresh as it's situated down at the beach/port. How wrong we were. We ordered a beef burger and fries emphasising no cheese, salad, or sauces. We also ordered a chicken paella and sat back and witnessed all this lovely food being brought out to the other customers. The burger arrived with cheese melting all over it on a bed of salad and dripping in sauce. It was returned straight away, and I started my paella only to realise it was tasteless, and as I tried a piece of chicken, the space where the chicken had been filled up with oil. We then had to wait for a fresh paella and ended up eating at different times as the burger came out 1st. I'd give...

Typical "tourist" restaurant. Prices on menu are displayed without 10% VAT, which will be added on top of the bill. This is not a problem, just I felt "used as a tourist". Another example: beer is available only in big size - pint for 6€, and it is not possible to order half pint. Not a great for slow drinker.

We had a dinner in this restaurant- ordered fish and paella. Paella La Vida - big size, good taste. After this dish, had indigestion issue. Grilled fish with potatoes - good presentation, but salad leaves looked "tired", fish overgrilled.

Overall, restaurant oriented for tourists. Big portions & nice presentation, ...

A nightmare. We were offered the menu with one entrance, main dish and desert. It started wrong when the beer was completely warm and they told us to add ice in it. Eventually they brought us another. The entrance was OK. The main dish was barbecue beef. It was the worst dish ever. Firstly that was not barbecued, it was fried. Secondly, it was only bones and fat with no meat whatsoever. They kept giving excuses. They offered to swap the dish but we had already seen it all. We paid half of the menu...

The food was good. Ordered the menu del dia on a sunday. The tax wasn't included so we had to pay 1.5€ each more. Not that bad was the suprise aspect of it was more the bad thing. Dessert wasn't the nicest, didn't really enjoy the crema Catalana. The fried calamaris were okay. I liked the steak and fries, although the fries were a but too fried. The sauce served with the steak wasn't too good. Sangria was included in the price so not bad. Still a solid 3 in the food.

We enjoyed it!! I was a bit sceptical because I've heard that the restaurants on the Passeig are a bit of a rip-off but this was a really really nice restaurant. The waiter was friendly, our food was lovely and it was not expensive at all. We even got a second half glass of rose wine for free. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Only minus point was, the coke was a bit stale and in a wine glass, which wasn't so fitting. But we will def. visit again. Thanks
