So I never write reviews whether they be positive or negative, but today I am. I walked into Miski and after waiting at the front for a bit I said hello to the waiter at the counter and then asked if I could sit outside. He stared at me like I was an idiot and then proceeded to walk past me and out to the patio without acknowledging me.
Ok, so I grabbed a menu myself and sat outside. The waiter was out there while I sat down and still didn’t acknowledge me. I looked over the menu for a bit and then decided that I would leave and go elsewhere. There are too many great restaurants in this town for me to settle for being treated so rudely.
I am from overseas, and I understand that overly friendly customer service is generally not to be expected in Europe and that’s fine with me. But there’s a big difference between not being overly friendly and being straight up disrespectful. I’m not sure if the service here is generally awful or if there’s a particular reason this server did not want to acknowledge me.
I get that many restaurants have open seating and you can sit anywhere that is open, but if that’s the case all you have to do is say “please sit wherever you like”, rather than blatantly ignore...

The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. The menu offered a tantalizing array of Peruvian delights, and I opted for the chaufa and jalea, two dishes that did not disappoint.
The chaufa, a Peruvian-style fried rice, was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, with each bite offering a new sensation. The jalea, a seafood medley, was a true highlight, with perfectly crispy and tender morsels of fish and seafood, bursting with flavor.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service at Niski was top-notch. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing their love for Peruvian cuisine. Their recommendations enhanced the dining experience, making it even more memorable.
Overall, Niski exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're a seasoned Peruvian food aficionado or new to the cuisine, Niski is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious dining...
Read moreThe place is very nice and decent. I saw the spot in Google maps and decided to give the Peruvian cuisine a try. I was so impressed when the food arrived (and the whole family). I eat meat quite frequently but despite that, this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. All meats were cooked excellent and all salads and vegetables were fresh, so much better than other salads in other places. This is a family owned business and all the people here were very kind and friendly. They even helped us move to a nearby table when we told them that the sun started to get warmer for us. They don’t really speak English but they do their best (unlike the majority of people in this city) so communication was not an issue. I really enjoyed my visit here and would definitely come back if I revisit Barcelona...
