Restaurant Pizzeria Alson — Restaurant in Barcelona

We popped in for a quick bite to eat, a pizza and a cannelloni accompanied by a bottle of dry white wine, before visiting the nearby magic fountains. It took about 20 minutes to walk from our hotel to the restaurant & then a further 7 to 8 minutes to the fountains, which very sadly are still closed following the pandemic.

The restaurant is family owned & run, who are very friendly. It's an inexpensive, no frills restaurant that serves good Italian food. We enjoyed our evening meal, which even with the wine, came to less than £30; so not bad at all. The restaurant is clean, tidy & easy to find. There are tables pavement side as well as inside.

De primeras, el sitio no acomapaña a entrar ya que es un local pequeño, escondido y aparentemente olvidado, pero cuando entras es totalmente diferente. Los dueños nos atendieron muy bien, fueron súper amables y acogedores con nosotros y el servicio fue de 10. La comida estaba riquísima. La verdad es que por el precio que ofrecian nuestras expectativas eran algo bajas, pero después nos hemos llevado una grata sorpresa. La comida es casera y tanto las pizzas como lo demás nos ha encantado. Hemos pedido menú, a súper buen precio, tan solo por 10,50€. La relación calidad-precio es excelente y además el toque de mezclar comida italiana con comida asiática es un puntazo. Por tanto, recomendaría este restaurante. Vale la pena tanto por el servicio como por la comida y los precios en si. Repetiremos sin duda, gran descubrimiento! A veces menos es más y aquí se ha demostrado, no hace falta irte a restaurantes caros y buenos.
