A hidden gem! This restaurant is a family-owned Filipino restaurant tucked in one of the corners of South Raval just close to Parralel.
I'm based in Barcelona for 3 months this summer and lucky enough to live just a few minutes away on foot from this restaurant. After traveling for a while, I just missed food from back home and this restaurant really gives you that home-made authentic Filipino taste.
My personal favorite would be Pork Sinigang. It's a sour soup with pork meat. It always brings back memories of eating back home in the Philippines.
You will never go wrong with their menu. A second close favorite would be Halo-halo for dessert, but mind you the leche flan here is also really good. There wasn't really anything I didn't like from here. If you eat with friends, try their combo meals as it's really filling and could be enough up to 3 people if you don't eat as much as I do. They even have their own version of everyone's favorite Jollibee spaghetti and chicken. If you miss Jollibee, try it here.
If you're looking for an authentic Filipino restaurant in Barcelona, look no further. I ate here at least 2-3 times every week and has become my personal kitchen while living in Barcelona. The filipino family who owns the restaurant is also really kind, and attends to your requests.
I will surely miss this restaurant and the sinigang. Thank you, Quintillizos for feeding me throughout my whole stay in...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming Spanish restaurant that not only served authentic Spanish cuisine but also delighted my taste buds with flavors from the Philippines. The seamless fusion of these two diverse culinary traditions made for a truly exceptional dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the restaurant exuded a warm ambiance, reminiscent of a cozy Spanish hacienda. The attentive staff immediately made me feel welcome, enhancing the overall inviting atmosphere. To start my culinary journey, We opted for Paella, a quintessential Spanish rice dish, showcased the chef's expertise. The flavorful rice was generously laden with an array of seafood, creating a delightful medley of tastes and textures. The crispy layer of socarrat at the bottom added a delightful crunch, elevating the dish to new heights.
Moving on to the Filipino offerings, the Lechon kawali and Kare-Kare, are beloved Filipino dishes, were standout. The tender pieces of meat were cooked to perfection, allowing the flavours to meld together beautifully. Served with steamed rice, it was a comforting dish that felt like a hug on a plate.
Whether you're a fan of Spanish cuisine, Filipino delicacies, or simply looking for a unique gastronomic adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit. We left with a contented palate and a newfound appreciation for the beauty of...
Read moreNewly discovered Filipino cafe bar restaurant. Relatively close to Drassanes Station, Las Ramblas and "Museu Maritim". The menu has Filipino style mixed with Spanish style food. The starters' price ranges 2.50€ - 6.30€ and the meals' price ranges 5.90€ - 9.50€. The chicken can be serve boneless for people who cannot chew much or for a quick meal.
The personnel seemed quite friendly, flexible and attentive for your needs, specially since they seemed to just started opening. After consulting one of the waiters, they can offer a pick-up food service. The food is delicious, pleasant to eat, not salty (the food is commonly salty in several local Spanish restaurants), and can fill up the stomach easily. The price range/quality of the food is quite great. The atmosphere during lunchtime was nice, calm and relaxed. I would like to come back more often during my...
