On a lovely, sun-kissed afternoon, we ventured to Julieta's for cocktails and lunch. The establishment boasts a charming outdoor terrace with picturesque sea vistas. Seated at a table by the edge of the terrace under stylish striped umbrellas, we were promptly served delightful cocktails by an attentive waiter. I indulged in my favorite, the Porn Star martini, relishing the exotic blend of sweet passion fruit, smooth vanilla vodka, and effervescent champagne. The drink was beautifully presented and truly delectable. My companion savored the Green Dream, a refreshing concoction featuring Seagram's Dill-Infused Gin, Cucumber Syrup, Celery, Bitters, Soda Water, Lemon Juice, and Basil, which she enjoyed immensely.

Unsure of our lunch selection, we began with the Green Ceviche while deciding on our main course. Though I had enjoyed traditional green ceviche in Mexico before, Julieta's interpretation significantly departed from its Mexican roots. Their Green Ceviche featured a creamy avocado spread that masked the essence of a true ceviche, deviating significantly from the classic recipe that highlights fresh seafood cured in lime juice and a vibrant green sauce made from a blend of tomatillos, cilantro, jalapeño peppers, and other green ingredients, giving the ceviche its distinctive color and flavor. While edible, this modern take on green ceviche was an unexpected and undesirable departure from what we had anticipated, leading to a sense of disappointment. We hope that Julieta returns to the authentic Mexican roots of this dish.

Despite the enchanting ambiance and well-crafted cocktails, our disappointment with the Green Ceviche prompted us to settle the bill and seek lunch elsewhere. Since we only sampled one item from the menu, I refrain from assigning a rating lower than four stars, as I am confident that other dishes at Julieta's may be delightful. However, given our experience, we opted not to...

Came in with high hopes because of the location and menu items, left unsatisfied. We ordered multiple dishes to share. We received the smallest Burrata "salad" Barcelona has ever seen, 3 anchovis on toast (€18), 2 thumb-sized grilled squid with some oil (€16), and a pasta ragout that was too oily and tasted far from home made. We had some more items but none of them really hit the spot.

I ended up paying €50, without alcohol and left hungry. I would not even have written a review if it was just a bland-tasting, overpriced dinner, but the way we were treated by the staff was so extremely unsettling that I had to.

One girl attended us 3x and did not look at us ONCE. They tried to take out dishes we were very clearly still eating. They brought the wrong dish to our table which had to be changed, leading to unpleasant faces and a very weird attitude. The pasta arrived after all the other food was already done, 0 explanation or apology. They brought us a half empty bottle of table water when we ordered a new one.

We also had to order almost everything twice. Not because they were understaffed, but because they don't really seem to care. At all.

If 1 out of the 4 waiters that we asked for the bill would have asked how the food was, I would have happily given my honest feedback and skipped the review altogether. But...

Placed beside the W Hotel, Juliette's offers seaside dining at its finest. With its inviting atmosphere and mouthwatering cuisine, it promises a memorable experience from the moment you arrive. The service at Juliette's is as refreshing as the sea breeze, with attentive staff members ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.Now, onto the food – a true highlight of the experience. The paella is a taste of coastal Spain, brimming with fresh seafood and fragrant saffron-infused rice. And those croquettes? Crispy, creamy, and utterly irresistible. But the culinary delights don't end there. The burrata is a creamy indulgence, perfectly complemented by ripe tomatoes and drizzled with olive oil, while the salmon tartare delights the palate with its vibrant flavors. The beachside ambiance adds to the charm of Juliette's, providing the perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal with loved ones or a romantic dinner for two.Overall, Juliette's offers a slice of seaside paradise next to the W Hotel, where impeccable service, mouthwatering cuisine, and breathtaking views combine to create an unforgettable...

Let’s start with the positive, the restaurant is visually beautiful. We were 4 people, we ordered some beers and cocktails, the Pisco sour was awful, one of the worst I’ve ever had, I wasn’t even sure if they used pisco, it tasted more like vodka. The tomato bread was too salty and super small and each little piece cost 1.50 euros. We ordered the pasta and lobster, the lobster was under cooked. We order what we thought were burgers but it was just a meat patty without bread and some dried out fries, it felt like an overpriced kids meal. I also found it odd that they were still cleaning the restaurant when we were eating, usually this is done before the restaurant opens. I also found that there was a lot of staff and they kept coming up to us asking the same questions over and over again. I would not recommend this restaurant or return.

We had such a lovely dinner here! After dining at some average spots throughout our stay, we decided to eat at Julietas for our last night and we were very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef ragu and my boyfriend ordered the lobster pasta. Both were 10/10. Cocktails were also good. Only small complaint regarding service as we just found it took a long time to gain a waiter’s attention when we needed something. For instance, we weren’t served forks with our mains and we sat for a while trying to call someone over. Other than that, we had a great time and even the waiters were very nice so the delays in service weren’t too big of a deal.
