The Place is now called SIP by SIP, the coffee is quite good, but they no longer have the variety OMA had. The service has deteriorated, at least once a week when I try going I cannot buy a morning coffee because the place is not open at 9am even though it says 8:30am open. On weekends Priority for preparing coffees is given to their friends even if you're in line first and already paid so expect 15 min wait for your latte on weekends if you're lucky.

The place has been redone inside and the terrace, seating is a lot nicer. The improvement in the atmosphere is noticeable. But has come at the cost of popularity vs regular customers.

Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop, they serve from the best roasters in Barcelona like Three Marks and Magnífico. Food is good for a quick bite. Cristian one of the baristas is outstanding, highly recommend if you're a coffee snob.

This spot feels like the place your Grandma bakes into existence when she swaps her apron for a cool leather jacket and job at the firm Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). Then, per Grandmas, invites you into her space. A layout without a counter to queue.

Equally, tables filled by Rem Koolhaas chatting Miuccia Prada or a local family with an energetic puppy.

The pastries are pure comfort. Cinnamon roles — by the loaf. You sit under the trees. Sip stylized coffee art in modern ceramics. Enjoy the juxtaposition of a cozy European neighborhood with a bit of Tokyo sneaker shop, sneaking in.

It’s the “I have taste, but don’t need to brag” energy with a damn good coffee.

The coffee and drinks in general are great here. However, the service is just awful and straight up unpleasant. I’ve had cases of wrong orders and very long waiting time but today was the time I definitely got so disappointed I don’t want to return. The barista doesn’t offer a bag for takeaway and when we asked for one he put my toast vertically so all of the toppings fell off the bread and got messed up. Another thing that surprised me is that both sandwiches were burnt. How do you expect people to eat this? If you want people to come back and support your business, improve the service. The guys are unfriendly and treat you as if they’re doing...
