Wow this place is so good. I have celiac disease so I can’t eat gluten and this place has great gluten free “bagels” (not quite a bagel, but similar and she told me before ordering), pan de queso, empanadas, and small pies. The pies you have to order beforehand, but I was lucky and they happened to bake an extra. Amazing lemon meringue! The bagel sandwiches are also super good. But the best thing I had were the empanadas! The woman who makes the gluten free food is from Bolivia and, wow, she can make a killer gluten free empanada. Honestly, the best gf empanada I’ve ever had. The curry chicken was delicious. There are two dedicated spaces for cooking/prep here. So the gluten bagels are all at the front, but the gluten free stuff is all made in a separate kitchen in the back. It felt very safe in terms of cross contamination and all the food I had was incredible. I will dream about this place when I go back...

Quality of Food: 8/10 - good tase and freshness Service: 7/10 one person on staff both attending and also cooking so there’s a solid delay if there’s multiple orders in, friendly staff and accommodating Ambience: 5/10 the place is small it has 4 places to sit inside and is a bit simple/run down with unfinished ceilings and a lot of grey color scheme - I would recommend to go and sit outside as there is some benches nearby. The glass case also makes it seem like the bagels are going to be made on the spot but it wasn’t the case as they were made in the kitchen in the back Value for Money: 7/10 - It’s a bit pricey to start 9-11 euro for a breakfast sandwich but it’s also hard to find bagels and nyc bagels in bcn generally. The dinner right next door has some options that seem to be comparable in price but you get a more sit down experience. Consistency: TBD but...
