Tunateca Balfegó is owned by the Balfegó company which sustainably farms bluefin tuna near Tarragona and distributes their fish to restaurants around the world.
Tunateca serves a tasting menu of their tuna served in both Japanese and Western preparations.
I loved my meal. The tuna is of the highest quality and all the preparations showcase the fish without overwhelming it.
Where else can you find a restaurant that serves an all tuna menu? Maybe in Japan. If you're visiting Barcelona, Tunateca is one of my top suggestions.
Some of the most interesting dishes:
Tuna carpaccio
Sashimi with 3 different cuts: akami, chutoro, otoro. I actually liked the chutoro the most, even more than otoro.

Overall, more reputation than...
