TWO SCHMUCKS — Restaurant in Barcelona

Can’t speak on the food but this place sucks. One of the two shmucks is alright but the other dude was just a cylinder sucker. It’s 14 euro per cocktail and they won’t be kind to you. Was excited to go, left after one drink. One of our drinks was horrible but the other was a whiskey cocktail and pretty fire, I’m not here to deny their skills. We stopped here as the first place we went of Barcelona three top-ten entries on the 50 best bars list. I understand it has had quite a few personnel changes since that list came out, but it seemed top-50 worthy to me! We came around opening and during low season for Barcelona, so that might be why it was pretty calm when we came with no wait. The bartender was super friendly and lots of fun, music was great and not too loud, and the vibe reminded me of some place you find on Manhattans Lower East Side actually, just way more affordable (I dare you to find a better cocktail list for the price they charge across the board). This is the bar I returned after comparing Paradiso, Sips and TS. People say “everyone had left TS”, but the bar still provides high quality and well-crafted drinks. If you are artsy person, you might not be found of this place, but if you are a favor of the flavor, make sure you preserve your stomach for this place. The magical combination of different ingredients creates intricate balances that brings unimaginable elegant flavors that beyond a dive bar. Be sure you ask for today’s “Special of the Special”, there will be pleasant surprise. Bartenders provide good service, some of them are so nice while some of them are too busy.
