¡Que gran descubrimiento! Después de pasar varias veces por delante y ver que siempre hay mucho ambiente, leer un poco las reseñas y escuchar hablar de La Parra, puedo dar mi opinión. Una mezcla de bar de toda la vida con su ambiente de gente tomándose unas cervezas y unas bravas (que recomiendo 200%), y un local con una gastronomía de calidad, totalmente casera y con unos sabores que te dejan sin palabras. Salir por Barcelona, en pleno centro, y encontrarte un rincón en el que comes tan bien y a unos precios populares… parece surrealista en los tiempos que corren. Probamos unas cuantas tapas, y cada una que traían, nos gustaba más. Lo primero de todo, el pincho de tortilla estaba buenísimo, jugoso y con ese punto “a medio hacer” tan rico… Mención especial a la Carillera/Galta, que estaba espectacular, tierna y súper sabrosa. La bomba de setas riquísima, se nota cuando un producto es casero… Y si eres amante de los sabores picantones, el pincho es una de tus tapas sí o sí. Para rematar, probamos una crema catalana (también casera) que estaba riquísima. Como bien digo solo empezar, es un gran descubrimiento de local, porque no solo la comida, si no el trato y el servicio fueron de 10. Sin duda volveremos un día al menú de medio día, del que he escuchado muy buenas críticas. ¡Enhorabuena chicos, así da gusto!

Went to La Parra Bar for an evening Tapas experience, The place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Barcelona as a place favoured by the locals - because it offers good quality food at a reasonable price. I found the food to be very tasty, authentic and the service was excellent. Really liked the bomba de setas (mushroom bomb). Yummy. All the Tapas we tried were tasty too. Definitely worth a visit.

Sadly we only ate there the one time. We went there on Christmas Eve and they are closed. Our visit there was a few nights earlier. A friendly old school place popular with locals. Food was great. Excellent selection of tapas. Get there early to guarantee yourselves a table. It only seats about 30 people. We didn't try the cheesecake and that's a regret. The burger with Roquefort cheese was glorious.

Walked by and liked the atmosphere so popped in for a bite and drink. Got zero acknowledgement. Walked up to bar and ordered. Picked up our drinks at bar, all while everyone else seated away from the bar like us got table service and menus at their tables/high-tops. Saw what looked like a local chat with the bartender / server, wait and walked out after no service as well. We wanted to order food but didn’t get a chance. I understand they may have been busy but an acknowledgement and maybe a distress signal and laugh would have been all that was needed to...

I had an amazing dining experience at a restaurant with exceptional service and delicious food. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill. Overall, it was a truly special experience that I highly recommend.

This place is such a gem we had to come back twice! Can't recommend this place enough if we are ever in Barcelona again we are definitely coming here and you should too. Amazingly fresh tapas we had the fresh anchovies with vinegar (best thing ever) and the calamaris! Fresh octopus in beautiful seasoning. Good drinks as well. If you don't want to tapas there is also a set menu of the day which is at a good price. But we would definitely recommend...
