I was so hungry when I’d arrived that I ate 4 of the most heinous olives imaginable leaving about twenty other nuggets of concentrated evil to be served to the next victim to be drawn in by “Special Olives” Went for the Soya Balls next. Kind of expected a meatballesqe dish. Maybe some quinoa, veggies and soya pressed together and served with a spicy tomato sauce. Got chewy quorn-like nuggets in a stew of spice paste. Thrown in some batons of uncooked ginger and youre half way to a mouth ulcer capable of incubating the egg of serpentine satan. I ate all of it. I was stoned off my barnet. But honestly, give it a miss there are plenty of vegan champions in Barcelona that are cheaper and of much higher quality. Service was nothing special, except for the guy who took the payment. He was pleasant but charged me in home currency. The bell whiff. Can’t see myself returning. Maybe for one of the milkshakes... I’ve heard they’re good.

This place is my favorite place to eat in Barcelona. All vegans going through barcelona should try this place. The food is amazing and they have plenty to choose from I should know because I at least ate there once every day for my stay of 9 days in Barcelona. They have plates of the days that are a great deal and amazing food that you might not find vegan somewhere else. I had Goulash,Polenta, vegan cheese wraps, veggie burger, patatas bravas and other stuff I cant remember the name of but they were all great. Some stuff I didnt even know what I was ordering, I would just ask for recommendations from the waiters. They also make juices, smoothies and Serve beer. The staff is great as well and most speak english and other languages ( if spanish isn't your main language) Lots of good stuff is in this place, you just gotta try it.

Some nice vegetarian and vegan food selections, and located in a nice central spot in the city. There is a large area of indoor seating so it’s good for singles, couples, or groups. There’s a daily menu for 9.25€ (at time of writing) which offers two courses, bread, water or wine, and a small dessert, and the quality is very good for such a price point. The main plates are done on a daily rotation and can be seen on the specials board, and they have some standard and special starters too. The desserts are pretty basic but not terrible, and as the main course is the focus I don’t think you’ll mind too much. They also have a juice bar with plenty of fruit and vegetable options for blended juices or batidos, and also offer a special juice of the day alongside the menu for less than 5€.

If this were only about the taste of the food, this review would be way better. However, there is more to a restaurant visit than that.

The service was terrible - slow and unattentive. Totally chaotic. I usually am not that person who complains about people not speaking English in a non-anglophone country, but at least a short explaination what a dish is should be doable (or at least telling what number on the menu the dishes on the daily menu have so one could just read it).

One of the staff constantly had a cleaning rag in her pocket - can happen but shouldn't, looked rather unprofessional. However, this is not the only cleaning rag issue - another waitress was wiping tables and dropped her rag. Without hesitation, she picked it up from the floor and continued to clean the table. Absolutely disgusting. The general cleanliness was okay, but with that happening I wonder how the hygiene is on areas the customer can't see.

I had a menu with a starter, my friend only a main dish. Instead if serving the main dishes together, hers came with my starter and it took ages after I finished my first plate to get the second one - almost as if we were foegotten about. The same happened with my glass of wine - hadn't I asked it would probably have been forgotten. If it were a super busy day I'd understand that, but there were several free tables and the staff were on their phones instead of waiting tables.

Said wine (red) was ice cold and sour - I almost have to pity that poor beverage for being served im such a way.

My dessert was allegedly chocolate mousse, but it was way too liquid. Good, fluffy vegan mousse is possible and easy enough to make, but clearly Veggie Garden doesn't know how.

The waiter who brought the wine and "mousse" seemed super annoyed and, for a lack of better words, slammed the food and drink on the table. There wasn't even a "sorry we forgot your wine".

Additionally, it was super loud - both from what I assume to be constrction work and the metro running underneath (which was not an issue in other closeby places we ate at). Also, our table neighboirs had to move a bit since water (?) was leaking from the top of the room.

We definitely wont be returning, which is a true pity regarding how excited I was about this...

We stopped here for a light bite, and the food was fantastic with a great variety on offer. The quality was excellent, and we found ourselves wishing we had come for a full meal to try more dishes!

We had the patatas bravas and soy balls in a tomato sauce, served with rice and salad. It was a nice touch that the dish included some salad, and the portion sizes were just right. The food seemed to have a mix of influences, which made it even more interesting and enjoyable.

I also had a chilli and ginger juice, which was delicious, but in hindsight, I think I’d opt for water next time to fully appreciate the flavors of the food. The juice was lovely, but it might have been better enjoyed after the meal instead of during.

The interior was fun and colorful, with creative wall designs that added to the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and the music created a nice, welcoming vibe.

I’d definitely visit again if I’m ever in Barcelona. I was just visiting with my partner, and we both really enjoyed...

First impression was bad. We were told to put away our raincoats immediately after entering, due to rain. We told the staff that we want to have it with us as we got valuables in it - so they told us to just rinse it off outside. Fair enough, but it felt very rude. Not very welcoming. We had walked a very long way just to eat there, so we gave it a chance anyway despite being irritated.

The atmosphere inside was noisy and uninspiring. Most of the staff can speak English quite well. Staff felt very stressed and overworked. Service was very bad in general.

Food arrived quickly. We chose Thali which was nice, but it was lacking spices. The apple pie crumble dessert was good. No soft drinks (cola etc) available.

When we were done, we tried to get contact with the waiters for 15 minutes as we wanted to pay, so I recommend you to just walk up to them to save time. Prices were great compared to other vegan restaurants nearby, so with that in mind I still give the...
