Just other night, our last night in BCN, I wanted something more fancy, they had wagyu A5 on the menu To make it short, I’ve asked what region wagyu comes from, and what cut it is They had zero clue, they could only say it comes from Japan, when I’ve ask for certificate, they looked at me weird Price 45€ for 100g was too cheap, finally they confirmed is sirloin but you can’t have steak as they have it pre cut to basically thin 100g pieces We’ve ordered Ribera “Tempranillo” young wine They obviously allowed me to try it, and it felt off but strength it has, yet I’m not gonna return bottle like a snob Moment I’ve accepted, bottle was put on table and I’ve looked at the label and it was saying Crianza, meaning 2 year in barrel at least I’ve spoke politely to owner, he acknowledged is a mistake but never apologise or said sorry, in contrary, first reply to a note for him not complain was that it’s a good vine isn’t it ? Sorry, I don’t support this type of excuses Wagyu, I believe Australian was good and we’ve enjoyed it as one part of started we have eaten, croquettes was good, roasted avocado not so much, felt like McDonald’s with painted strips of grill marks, it came with “pico de gallo” and feta cheese Was lacking saltines and acidity Last course was their beef chop macerated for min 60 days, I’ve also ask for cow breed, all they could reply was it’s our own “granja” cultivator First off all nothing on their display had more than 30 days, I’ve mature meet my self and still do, it was too 35 days, and bad cuts, chewy and we left nearly half of it Service was ok, trying their best to their capacity Sides we’ve ordered where mash potato’s and veggies, veggies came with young potato’s, that where still raw, when at table checking by their staff I’ve said they’re not eatable, they’ve apologised and said you have same side ordered with (Chuleton) 60 days aged chop they main star in their card, I’ve asked to make it eatable, staff came in and said they won’t be able to do it and if I like to change the starter, I’ve said no, we have so much meat/protein I want vegetable and ask the just skip potato’s and fill it up with other veggies that where in like carrots mushrooms and beans, yet they decided to fill it up with fries, luckily I didn’t even had to call the staff to complain, lady have seen it and right away have changed it and bring new side dish as it was ordered from beginning There was no sorry, mistake, or any kind of apologies or re compensation. I left the tip on top 250€ bill as its not the staff fault to certain extend It’s a tourist trap with arrogant owner, and their “60” days stakes hmm the best to describe where nothing better than you buy in your local supermarket that you age for 30-35 days Seriously disappointing, pictures don’t justify more than eye, as your flavour buds and general feeling about this place will prove you different

For a 97$ check, this is by far the worst restaurants I have ever been too. I came alone since it was my last night in spain and I wanted a high-end dinner by myself. The server blamed ME for his lack luster service, neglect in caring for my cold food, as well as not explaining how the Japanese steak is presented to you. He said that I am supposed to be the one to get his attention, meanwhile he actively was checking on other tables and providing service WITHOUT the other customers signaling for attention. This is a high end restaurant not a mcdonalds, or so I thought. I COULD NOT cook all of my steak because the grill was not hot after the 7th piece of steak. The server said he could have replaced it but never did. OBSURD! I waited for several hours to receive a check and a follow up on my food, while all of the other tables who were around me were constantly receiving service and offering their customers more drinks and food. He ASSUMED that because my eyes were red, I was intoxicated, which I was not because I suffer from severe alllergies. The amount of prejudice and racism I received was obsence. The burger was cold, the fries were cold but I had to beg them to get me some fresh fries. The mash potatoes are never hot (even asking for them to be redone). The Japanese A5 steak is not a good option. The wine was not fresh, it had been open for a week. I had asked for additional food and a menu and the server brought me a desert that I was allergic to. I will never EVER come back here and I am going to contact higher management.

Booked this for me and my partner last minute and I’m so glad I did now!! It was a Really hot night and this restaurant had great Air conditioning which made our time there that much more comfortable. We were hosted by a gentleman called Amin who went above and beyond to look after us. We ordered cocktails to start with which were perfect. Normally restaurants tend to do great food and rubbish cocktails or the opposite, this I can say did both great food and great cocktails. The food was served in great time and was super tasty! We ordered the 2x chicken croquettes and 2x beef croquettes to share along with the aged ham and boy was it good!! For mains I had the Limousin fillet steak which came with fries and melted in your mouth. 🤤 My partner ordered the roast chicken (can’t remember the full name but it was juicy and full of flavour and we shared the roasted vegetables on the side.

Amin couldn’t do enough for us and at the end of our meal although we were to full to order desert he gave us a couple of Spanish wine shots before we headed out… these were strong but sweet at the same time and got us right in the mood for a night out on the town.

Overall very well priced, great service, great food and drink and great atmosphere. We would certainly return here again and highly recommend anyone to try it for...
