I absolutely loved this Peruvian restaurant! The food was so, so good—I had the roasted chicken with fries and salad, and it was truly delicious. I will definitely be coming back!
The service was excellent—warm, attentive, and very friendly. We sat on the terrace, which is located in a quiet spot, and it was such a lovely experience to eat outside. Bonus points: the place is dog-friendly, which I always appreciate!
I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the wine experience. We were offered two options by the glass: “dry” and “aromatic/fruity.” We went with the second, assuming it would be something like a Chardonnay, but unfortunately it turned out to be extremely sweet, and we really didn’t enjoy it. Wine pairing can make or break a meal, and I think a clearer explanation or guidance from the staff would really help elevate the overall dining experience.
One small suggestion: it would be great to have the option to order an extra portion of salad. The one served with the chicken was quite small for two people sharing.
That said, I hope this feedback is taken constructively because I genuinely had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place and will 100% be...

On the other hand, the service didn’t quite meet my expectations. We had to wait around 20 min for our table even though we had a reservation. The waiter that attended us didn’t seem to know the menu at all, she was all over the place (maybe she was new). We even had to set up our own utensils because she was very doubtful about everything.
We had a selection of many different dishes to share between all of us. Starters and main dishes were fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious and full of flavor!
I really need to come back and try the whole menu because there was a lot to choose from!
Overall great dinner! Hopefully the service will be better next time and this was just a one-day...
Read moreAs a big fan of Peruvian food, I really wanted to try Warike and since we were in Poblenou I thought finally the day had arrived! Nothing to say about the ceviche, which was overall good. And the service also: the guy and the girl were both super nice and friendly. The potatoes and the veggies of the lomo saltado were very tasty but the (very few) pieces of meat (which should be the main part of the dish) came with a lot of fat parts (lomo should not have any!). We asked for a “tres leches” as a dessert and they said they had just one portion left (strange, as we were one of the first tables of the day on a weekend). They brought us some “loose parts” of the cake, or better to say, some leftover parts of it from the days before. We found the price/quality ratio definitely...
