What a marvellous place to be! First time in and they got my heart. Superb quality in everything, food, service, drinks, environment. We tried many things from the menu, garlic bread, acarajé, salpicão, coxinha, yuca dices and caipirinha. Being a Brazilian and knowing very well the main meals from there, I would give 5 starts to Buriti. They are making the traditional food with their own touch, which makes it really special and appropriated to every single audience. If you are a Brazilian, you can go and you won’t be disappointed (the opposite actually), if your not a Brazilian, you will be amazed with a high quality experience. The location is great in Poblenou, near to the metro station and bus stops. You can go with your pet, since they are located in front of a park. The meals are well served and with fair prices. Can I give 6 stars?...
Read moreFood Quality: amazing food. Everything we ordered was delicious and very well prepared. Definitely recommend the Picanha with garlic bread, and dont miss out on the Pao de Queijo.
Portions: doesnt look like a lot, but when you order a few starters and the main, it will be lota of food and all worth it.
Drinks: many options to choose from, including cocktails.
Price: $$ very good price for good food.
Service: very friendly and fast. A bit too pushy on some dishes or suggesting other options when you have already made an order.
Atmosphere: very busy, make a reservation to make sure you get a place. Very nice area, good music, and lucky if you get a seat outside.
Highlights: food is very good.
Things to improve: maybe if the client already made an order, dont try to convince them on another plate.

Read moreSuch a nice find, this place has a very good vibe and even better food. I cannot say I am very familiar with bahian food, but everything we tried was full of flavor, tasted homemade with love and care. You can tell when there is lots of attention and passion involved, and these people put both in the dishes they serve. The bobo and the feijoada were such flavor bombs, the pao de queijo- best we had in Barcelona (my daughter loves them), and the dessert- sunny happiness on a plate. Even the coffee was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to make a reservation, as it was packed when we visited. Even so, the service was fast, attentive and friendly. Clean bathrooms, as unimportant as it sounds, is a plus! Can’t wait to be...
