Maybe it's my luck, but my 5 day trip in Barcelona has been been full of culinary disasters. Half the 4+ rated restaurants have had huge issues. This restaurant for price and taste is on point. Tonkotsu wanted 12 EUR for the broth and noodles, no toppings included. This place is asking 7 EUR for a full ramen with toppings. Both places claim long stewed broth times. This restaurant is a sleeper, even though they have high review, the restaurant isn't bumpin' when it should be packed.
Pros Good price. Fresh Barcelona fish for the sashimi and nigiri. Ice cream is homemade and ridiculous Ly good. They are mild tasting, so if you like sweet-sweet icecream then this isn't for you. Menu is thought-out thinking about texture and flavor. Fried onion chips and safron on your specialty roll? Maki isn't an authentic Japanese dish anyway, and I think their take on Maki is fantastic.
Cons slightly overcooked rice for my Maki roll. ramen a bit softer than I would like.
I can't do half stars, but this place deserves more customers. I recommend this place at the time of...
Read morecharming ramen spot that’s quickly become my favorite hidden gem. This small, cozy place offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a solo food adventure.
The standout dish is the Ramen Picante. Its perfect balance of spice and flavor makes it an absolute must-try. Every bite is a delightful explosion of taste that leaves you craving more. Also the Takoyakis are great.
What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a smile and making you feel right at home. Their exceptional service adds to the overall positive dining experience.
The ambience is another highlight. Decorated in a vibrant, ultra-anime style, it adds a fun and unique touch to the dining experience. It’s a visual treat for anime fans and a refreshing change from typical restaurant decor.
Overall, this ramen spot is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. If you are looking for great food and friendly service, this place...
Read moreVery cute place. Lovely decorations with comic strips along the walls and plastic greens making the impression even cuter. The staff was very kind and patient. Therefore the 4/5 overall star rating. And over all good experience which I would recomend to you if you would be passing by and are hungry and looking for somewhere cozy and small to sit and eat. But I myself would not go back. Why? Maybe it's because it was my first time eating ramen and now I want to try other places? Or maybe it was just one of those one time places. They offered a menu of 12 € where you got to choose 2 small dishes and 1 bigger dish. Drink and dessert included. I liked my ramen but I've never had one before so how would I know what it's supposed to look like or taste? Did I like the taste? Yes, sort of. But I did not think the 12 € were worth the menu. My friend had the sushi menu and she thought the sushi was really good so maybe have some sushi...
