El Bistró de Begur — Restaurant in Begur

Our experience:

After talking to the staff about the options for the menu of the day, it was explained to us that one of the options was vegetarian, so we went in, with 3 of our party of 4 ordering the vegetarian option for 20 euros each.

We ordered a portion of bravas and were somewhat disappointed by the amount of brava considering the price, so already that was not a good start.

The starters were okay, but the main shock was that after a lengthy wait of about half an hour, the 3 vegetarian options had chicken in them. We explained to them that there has been a mistake, and they rectified it within minutes, but it seemed like they only removed the meat and recooked the pasta and vegetables.

At this point we were too hungry to go anywhere else or even question why there were dried shallots and sweet tamarind sauce in our pasta dish, or why one of the dishes was devoid of sauce.

We ate and were pretty sad for the next couple of hours.

No puedo comentar sobre la comida porque por suerte ni he comido ni comeré ahí. Por otra parte, el problema fue con el impresentable del dueño de local que no hace justicia a toda la gente agradable que hay en la zona de Begur en la costa brava. Siendo esta la primera vez que visitamos la zona, cometimos la temeridad de tirar una bolsa de basura en el contenedor situado en la zona peatonal de la plaza donde estaba ubicado el bar y el dueño vino hacia nosotros con malas formas, mala educación y de una manera deplorable a achacarnos a nuestra familia dicha acción. Amenazante, maleducado, egocéntrico y con aires de superioridad no hay excusa para hablar a la gente de dicha manera. Una actitud deleznable para una persona que se dedica a estar de cara al público y que manchó nuestra experiencia como familia para esta mañana. Si podéis, con todos los sitiazos que hay, evitadlo.
